I'm going to clarify some points from this video: 1) This is not intended as a Cessna 172 pattern tutorial. I mention that it's the stock MSFS 172 and KLSE purely out of courtesy 2) The numbers flown during the pattern are not "too fast" - below is a link to a video in which a CFI flies 90 on downwind, 80 on base, 70 on final, 65 on short final, and 60 "over the fence" * 3) When I state "flap deflection up to 15° primarily produces lift with minimal drag" I'm not referring to a specific Cessna 172 flap setting, because, again, this tutorial is not specific to the Cessna 172 4) And when I refer to calculating airspeeds I'm referring to the FAA's Airplane Flying Handbook. I don't necessarily agree with those speeds, but I have included them because they are FAA guidelines * kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5SYlGukjbiCZtU I would also like to say I detest people that use a little flight sim knowledge to try to bully and belittle others. I'm perfectly happy to receive critiques of my videos. We're all here to learn. But I won't put up with bullies. I'm afraid people like that make the flight sim community poorer.
