Teach your kids the ways of the Lord at home by centering your home around Christ, allow them to see you pray and worship God, disciple your kids daily, don’t allow them to watch or listen to ungodly music and shows, homeschool them if you can, and pray for your children’s salvation. This is exactly why they wanted, for the kids to deny the faith and raise their children to believe there is no God; it’s time to raise kids with the fear of the Lord, not just bring them to church on sunday.

We can blame the celebrities as much as we want, but the reality is that kids are abandoning biblical values because _the parents aren't doing their jobs_ . That is where God ultimately places the blame. God specifically told _the parents_ to teach them His laws in Deuteronomy. But because even the lawless, Sunday-keeping churches of traditional Christianity reject those laws, kids are distancing themselves further from God than they did in past gens.

Found this on the internet. When prayer was taken out of school this happened. Figure 1: The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is an academic test that measures the developed verbal and math reasoning of a student exiting from high school or some similar type of learning facility. The results of these tests are commonly used by colleges and universities to indicate the strength of a student’s academic preparation and his potential for success on the college level. Figure 1 shows how drastically the actual knowledge of high school students began to drop at an accelerating rate after 1962. Barton notes in his report that the upturn in SAT scores since 1981 is due to the increase in private Christian educational facilities which began to flourish at that time. Statistics have proven that students from private Christian schools showed higher academic achievement and higher test scores. Figure 2: This graph shows the increase in sexual activity in unmarried teen-age girls after the 1962 Supreme Court decision. It is evident from the figures provided that in the years previous to the removal of prayer the rates remained stable and relatively unchanged. In the post- prayer years the numbers immediately began to soar. The sudden increase on the graph appears as if a great restraining force had suddenly been removed. Figure 3: Unwed women 15-19 years of age showed a phenomenal increase in the rate of pregnancies after the School Prayer decision. Note that the figure jumps drastically after the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade decision which made abortion legal in the U.S. The United States now has the highest incidence of teen-age motherhood in any Western country. Figure 4: For the 15-19 and 20-24 age group, the rates of youth suicide remained relatively unchanged during the years from 1946 to the School Prayer decision in 1962. But in the years since, suicides among the same group have increased 253 percent, or an average of 10.5 percent per year. Figure 5: Stability in the family has also been affected since the 1962 decision. Divorce, single parent families, couples living together but not married, and adultery are areas of family breakdown which have experienced radical growth in recent years. In the graph above, the increase in single parent families (households with only a mother and children) are detailed. Note the dotted line at the bottom, which shows the rate of growth prior to the 1962 decision. Figure 6: Crime, productivity, and national morality had been on a fairly stable level prior to the 1962 decision, but that is no longer the case. It is obvious that such a quantity of students praying for their nation had a very positive effect on the course that this nation had taken. The rate of violent crime, as shown above, has risen over 330 percent.

It's sad to hear this, but there's nothing new under the sun. Today's parents don't care about their relationship with the Lord, they are too consumed by the things of this world. There's a passage in the Book of Judges where the third generation after the exodus from Egypt, they did not have any knowledge of what their God did for them, they were completely unaware of their history. The stories of what took place by the hearers of the second generation wasn't important enough to share with their children.

The last 2 sentences are KEY. Parents were training their kids upon the live and power God by sharing how God delivered Isrsel out of slavery. I can imagine that as the parents were sharing their own faiths were strengthened. The fault lies SQUARELY in the laps of parents. *Deuteronomy 6:4-9* makes clear what parents are supposed to do: 1. Believe in God 2. Love that same God completely 3. Continue in that love. Never let it die out. 4. Teach your children to have that SAME LOVE for God - by your words and by your example. Children also have a choice. Yes, society is wicked. But ultimately, the problem lies with parents. We can't shift responsibilities to the church or government. But praise God that He is merciful if we have made mistakes

There are a number of problems with this. (1) Christianity and philosophy are fundamentally opposed to each other. Philosophy is based on what the Bible calls human reasoning. (2) The widely accepted version of Christian history isn't even true. While the original apostles did preach and gained converts throughout the known world, there was a counterfeit Christian movement that eventually became what the world knows as Catholicism and Protestantism.

Honestly as I write this I have not watched the video yet but I have this on my heart to share. The Lord has sent His Holy Spirit down on the event I’m volunteering for. It’s called Knox Weekend (in TN) and it’s with Shoreline Church. There was an absolutely wonderful experience of the Holy Spirit while we were supposed to learn about Him! God is moving! If parents are teaching their children about the Lord and His word, the Bible and yet the children reject it, then the parents are no longer responsible because they did their job. According to the Bible, Christians who warn others of coming wrath and destruction, the blood of the people will not be required of them because they saw and warned others.
