U.S.S. Eisenhower Strike Group returning home

New tonight, the Dwight D Eisenhower carrier strike group is returning home. The Pentagon says the strike group left the Middle East yesterday. The carrier will remain briefly in the U.S. European Command Area of Responsibility before returning home. The strike group protected commercial ships from being attacked by the Houthi rebels. The Eisenhower will be replaced with the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group according to the Pentagon.

Not really. They are well defended and worthy investment. Let’s see a drone or satellite rescue people from the water or perform humanitarian aid while maintaining the ability to project air power anywhere. Drones and satellites are easy to down with the Aegis system or a EW plane that gets a fix.

I, for one am just happy Biden didn't hand the keys over to the enemy again. It would be great for the ship to "guard everything within the limits lf my post and quit my post only when properly relieved" as I had to do as an E1 private, but at least we can drive home now.
