I have said it before and will say it again they are fans that have 10 times more talent than the dweebs at CBS or Paramount. This was excellent work cant understand why CBS and Paramount are not going to some of these very talented fans and hiring them to make Trek if they love the Franchise Licence so much.

It is an ok location, if the Enterprise was attacked like she was in ST II the one on the port side could have been knocked out of commission but that could happen any where if an enemy fired on the area where the launcher is.

It wasn't just the visuals which were awesome. Its the sound. Sound can be so nostalgic and brings about deep emotions. The weapon sounds. The music. Done correctly, it can really move the viewer. The JJ verse has little sounds or music that fans are familiar with or love.

This is a really cool and solid design - the canon design with Abrams nacelles. Perfect! It could fit in either timeline. I think they should hire you to redesign this into the fourth Abrams Trek movie (yes, we already saw a taste of it at the ending of BEYOND but one can dream). JJ Abrams, if you're watching, THIS is what your version of the USS Enterprise should have looked like!

At first, I was disappointed that you made the front of the warp nacelles blue like in the Kelvin movies, I giggled like a little kid when I saw them glow red when the ship powered up. And very nice job with this, it looks amazing.

Neat video. I am a huge fan of the Starfleet ships and I have to say that this is a very beautiful and cool looking Enterprise. First I like the look of the original Enterprise and the Enterprise A in your design. Also I love the warp engines and I like the fact that you kept a metal dish for the deflector. Awesome.

To date, my favorite reimagining of the 1701. As echoed by everyone else, this is what the 2009 Enterprise should have looked like. It was a definite updating, but not so radical that it would have made OG fans revolt like they have. She's got the curves of TMP refit, but still looks like the TOS era. Absolutely gorgeous. I'd eat its shuttlebay like groceries.

That design is not bad at all. JJ's ship looks pretty cool from some angles, terrible from others. The original and TMP ships looked striking from ANY angle, and this one has a lot of those qualities. I dont love everything about it, but you did far better than JJ's team did.

IMHO: Better than the JJprise? By a country mile! By 100 country miles! Even better than the STTMP Enterprise, because this looks like an improvement on TOS technology. Yes, I see the nacelles are based JJ's, but I can imagine these as a more logical lineage to TOS than what the TMP has. Again, IMHO, all the Original Cast film designs were so radically different in tone from the series, it didn't look like it were supposed to be from the same universe/timeline. The exception that shows it could have been done, is the T'Kinga. Truly a wonderful up grade, but not jarringly altered. This Enterprise is just right! Bravo!

canonically, it wouldn't be over that fast, but the results would still be the same. the D-7 would be destroyed and the Connie would have some battle damage, unless it is a JJtrek enterprise in which case it'd be screwed.

The federation ships are supposed to be beautiful, majestic ships. They are mainly exploratory ships. The Enterprise in the JJ Abrams movies do not capture that aura, they are designed to look badass.. and that is it. Lets not start with Discovery.. You can't just put a saucer section on something and call it a Federation ship! This Enterprise is beautiful, with an updated touch of modern, but it still has the same feel of the original Enterprise. Great job!
