Having lived in the Philippines 🇵🇭 💕 at Clark Air Base Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤️ in 1991. I believe most Filipinas prefer their spouses to live in the Philippines 🇵🇭. Many Filipinas feel uncomfortable if they are not near family in my opinion. Major changes of weather is depressing to Filipinas. 🇺🇸 AMERICA men can adjust more to Philippines 🇵🇭 💖 life. As compared to Filipinas to America 🇺🇸 life. Thank you for this video.

Yep... There are pros and cons to both. The main focus should always be the financial needs of the couple. America may have better paying jobs, but there are just as many different cost of living differences as there are states. Basic salaries often reflect the cost of living in any given city. A 2 bedroom house in Leesville, Louisiana might be 800 a month for rent, while that same size house in Manhattan, New York may cost up to 3000 a month. Add in all the other expenses such as food, car, car insurance, health care, utilities and random things, and the cost of living is realized. I have seen Filipina wives in the US that were stay at home wives... I have also seen their husbands going into deep debt trying to get loans to stay afloat on one salary with a wife that wants all the things she never had in her country. The smart thing would be for the wife to get to the US, get her SSN, start a career (Filipinas make the best nurses and tend to be in high demand), get her 40 quarters of work so that she earns her social security entitlement, while earning her own money to provide for her family back here and saving a nest egg at the same time. As far as immigrants owning land in the Philippines.. I think its best that we are not able to. The 60% Filipino ownership requirement is a smart way to keep the Philippines from being gradually owned by foreigners. (colonization through ownership)......

Great observations! Thanks.

The biggest factor isn't employment, social security, land ownership or immigration, it's Sancho. The Expats has to decide if he'd rather deal with Tonio in the PH or Chad and Tyrone in the States.

@@ExtraGuac007 For those of us who do not know who or what you are talking about, explain what you mean by Sancho, Tonio, Chad and Tyrone... Are those actually individual people of some labeling crap you are doing?
@ExtraGuac0073 ай бұрын
@@LoveyourLife-1970 Sorry. In Spanish culture, Sancho is the guy that is sleeping with your wife when you're at work. In the PH, the name is changed to Tonio. In America, Chad and Tyrone are the guys that are trying to take your wife from you.

@@ExtraGuac007 Oh, you were making some sort of joke. Gotcha... Was thinking you were seriously speaking of things that were actual concerns for men. I dont think most immigrant men here have to worry about a man sleeping with wives while they are at work, since many of the immigrants here are retired and don't work. Then again, even for those that are younger, its never about the man that tries, it is about the woman that allows. Pick wisely and for the right reasons and a man would never have to lack confidence in his wife/marriage.

Being a senior retired couple with a wife who isn't on social security or medical insurance, I was not interested in this episode until the last point. If I could only convince my wife that it would be cheaper there except for my medical bills.

Yes, other than possible hospital bills, most other things are less expensive. Routine doctor visits are also reasonable.
