Very good interview. I was one year Junior to Mallika in School and college. She is extremely talented. I will never forget her elder brother’s ‘ ഡോക്ടറോട് ചോദിക്കാം• a humorous piece in Medical College Trivandrum Magazine. My sister was studying there and so I got to read it. Humour runs in the family. I wish they would continue to write too. The Malayalam movie Shakunthala had come at that time. There was K. R Vijaya singing ‘പ്രിയതമാ' rolling on the grass on some lotus leaves. One supposed question to the doctor was from Shakuntala. She asked the reason why she was itching all over and had rashes. The doctor said that even when he saw the movie he expected this to happen as she was rolling around on stinging nettles.When I say this it may not be funny. But it had kept me laughing and I still laugh at the memory.

Mrs Mallika has a famous address apart from the two , that the anchor mentioned. This lady belongs to the famous Kainikkara Pillai family...which in turn has some link with "Ettuveettil Pillamar"one of the noble families of erstwhile Travancore kingdom. So please give her due importance for her lineage...her family members were well educated and highly respected. I think her family side is more distinguished than her husband's.
