I was introduced to u2 by this song. Then I realised when I was a child Pride was often played on the radio, when, I listened to pride later on I realised , hey this was the song that was played on the radio back then. 😂😂 So I really don't know whether it was this song or Pride that introduced me to u2. But u2 is part of my life now, I still wish to go to their concert someday, it is on my bucket list. The people who attended the elevation tour concert at Boston, I feel they are very lucky. I saw the opening show of this tour in Miami. Bono fell off the heart shaped stage in the first song. Luckily, the fans caught him and pushed him back on the stage. You could here the whole place just gasp. Bono and the band went on like nothing had happened. True story...

the timing was so uncanny, this came like a year or 2 before 911. This album comforted so many people. I remember going to the first day of school feeling unreal. And this was shot in an airport runway with planes flying pass over them

Why was the timing uncanny? Because the lyrics happen to refer to a beautiful day much like it was in New York on the morning of the 11th September 2001, and the video happens to have been shot at an airport? I don't think it's that uncanny, just a coincidence. No planes actually flew over them, it was just a composite of two separate shots to appear that way.
