Can't go wrong with U2.With or without you .Where the streets have no name. Pride ( in the name of love )+ Still haven't found what I'm looking for .A Great band ! 🔥 Bono got that unique instantly recognisable voice 👌 Another awesome Irish band is The Cranberries ! Love them too. 😁💗

The Joshua Tree album is full of great songs. Their Super Bowl halftime show is considered the best ever. 🎶👏🏼🇺🇸 Bet you’ll love “Mysterious Ways” 🔥

Teez, U2 is an amazing band that formed in the late 70's in Ireland & played mostly in Europe. Bono (lead singer) & The Edge (guitartist), who are truly bad ass, changed up their music style. Their 1987 album "The Joshua Tree" made everyone in the world stop in their tracks. Every song is 🔥 fire. They became one of the biggest bands in the world for a couple decades. Bono is very socially conscious artist & a lot of their songs are kind of political, social, or spiritual based. These are some songs you may want to listen to so you can really get a feel for them. -Where The Streets Have No Name" (GREAT VIDEO!!🔥) -Pride (Their song honoring MLK) -"Beautiful Day" -"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" -"One" ......that's a great mix of hits, in my opinion, you may want to revisit over time. 🎵❤✌

This song is played live at nearly every U2 concert to this day! They change it up to reflect current events. Definitely check out live from Paris 2015...Bono is 60 now and still sounds great!!

This was the Biggest Band in the World from the 80's into the 90's. The Joshua Tree has several classic songs on it so you may have reacted to a song or two off of it.

Actually I would say their run went from 1984/5 starting with Unforgettable Fire, all the way to 2009. All That You Can't Leave Behind was HUGE in 2000, Atomic Bomb was big with Vertigo and the album won 8 Grammy's including Album of the Year, and in 2009-10 They had the largest grossing tour of all time with the 360 tour.

I had the opportunity to see U2 on the Joshua Tree Tour in good ol' Philadelphia, Pa at the now destroyed JFK Stadium with about 100,000 other folks and at the beginning of this song a large airliner flew DIRECTLY over the stadium, the regular flight path was about two miles away, the crowd went wild. It was loud, but U2 was louder.

Awesome, dude! When I saw U2 it was at Veterans Stadium (also no longer there). A Tribe Called Quest was the openers.

If it's possible for one of the best selling bands in history to be underrated, I think U2 is underrated. U2 has a rep for being one of the least cool bands to be into but they rock harder than most critical darlings that don't last. The album "Songs of Experience" from a few years ago was pretty good even though critics weren't into it.

I’m not gonna lie. I was anti-U2 because their popular songs just don’t do it for me but this is changing my mind. I’m gonna have to check some of their deeper tracks out

@@martindecosta7350 U2 has a bad habit of putting out bad lead singles, at least since 2006. Check out... Every song on The Joshua Tree, Every song on Achtung Baby, Stay (Far away so close), Do You Feel Loved, Gone, Please, Dirty Day, Lemon, Mofo, Every Breaking Wave, Raised By Wolves, Sleep Like A Baby Tonight, Kite, Magnificent, No Line On The Horizon, Cedars of Lebanon, God Part II, All I Want is You, Heartland, Hawkmoon 269, Red Flag Day, Summer of Love, A sort Of Homecoming, Wire, The Unforgettable Fire, Wake Up Dead Man... the list goes on. Enjoy!

SOE is a great album. I like Songs of Innocence a little better, but I think that both were their best albums since POP in 1997. Amazing that people and critics loved All That You Can't Leave Behind and How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, yet those are two of my least favorite albums.

U2 are a bit weird in that they broke big in America before they cracked the UK. A big part of what made them huge in the UK was their appearance at Live Aid in '85. A lot of people today still say Queen stole the show at Live Aid but for me, that was a show that put U2 on a level they have been at ever since. They only did 2 songs at Live Aid. Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bad. I'd check Bad (It's not the Michael Jackson song!)

I would recommend One Tree Hill, if youbdo U2. U2 for sure will be popular on your channel like Beastie Boys. Their fans are hardcore. All the other reactors did the same top popular hits to death. One Tree Hill is a tragic and beautiful track with powerful and soulful lyrics. If you want, check out the meaning of the song first. Makes it more powerful.

@@quirkypurple do it! You will not be disappointed... amazing energy on stage and they sound the same live as they do in studio. Drowning Man is my favorite U2 song and although The Joshua Tree gets all the recognition (rightly so), I think The Unforgettable Fire is their. best album

One of the great live songs. Their early albums were superb. I lost interest after Zooropa, but still listen to those early records. Surrender All I Want Is You Bad (Live from Wide Awake In America) Wire The Unforgettable Fire Trip Through Your Wires Seconds The Electric Co (Live from Under A Blood Red Sky) I Will Follow October They have some great songs

I would check out some select songs on No Line On The Horizon. The title track, Magnificent, Moment of Surrender, Fez and Cedars of Lebanon. Also, the two latest albums are fantastic. Every Breaking Wave, Raised By Wolves, Sleep Like A Baby Tonight, The Troubles are fantastic. From SOE, Red Flag Day, Summer of Love, Love is All We Have Left, Landlady, etc... And POP! Yikes. The most underrated album in history. Gone, Please, Do You Feel Loved, Staring at the Sun, Wake Up Dead Man. SO very good.

Maybe you're thinking of "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent. The songs sound a lot alike. I like the live version of this song from their Zoo TV tour - live from Sidney Australia a lot better than this one.
