@@SuperBlackted I still don’t think you realise what I’m talking about. You need to understand Irish history a little more. They are playing in croke park, without going into it too much. There was an event that took place in that stadium in 1916 that is referred to as Bloody Sunday. There was also an event in Derry in the 60’s that was also known as Bloody Sunday. All I’m saying is, that is why this track was their opening track in this stadium. It had huge relevance. If your not Irish your not really going to understand it. I do get your point, U2 have written a shitload of good songs.

What the hell are you talking about. This song is about the troubles that took place in Northern Ireland. It focuses on where English paratroops opened fire and killed people who were marching for civil rights. Yes the black and tans shot people attending a match in retaliation for the night of the long knives but that is a whole different matter especially when it took part in 1916 and in which some parts of croke Park are named after the victims.
