Never thought EXIT would be played again. Fantastic U2 decided not to allow a madman to ruin it for their fans.
@AK-wc9rl7 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the guy who shot himself or Bono? :-)
@ELUSIVEJIM7 жыл бұрын
:D No the guy who killed a woman and blamed the song. U2 stopped playing it after that.
@AK-wc9rl7 жыл бұрын
Right.Was always under the impression that he shot himself, don't know why. You're right, he shot that woman.

I like Bono's look here. Definitely JT era. But also look at Larry wearing his short sleeve shirt that he wore in those days.

It has nothing to do with that. Its a character.

Great performance. Saw a documentary about Adam Ant and it showed a lot of Adam before he formed the Ants. Amazing as a life long U2 fan of 35 years how similar Bono's early stage antics were similar to his. Oh well reminiscing don't do you any good does it.

I've been a U2 fan since I was 11. I live in the south and I did vote for Trump (shocker right). However, I believe everyone has a right to their own opinion. For as much love that I have for this band, I can still be moved by the message and music even if I don't agree. I love this!
@spleisher7 жыл бұрын
Michelle Privett Good for you! Still can't understand what you see in Trump, especially now (the guy lies and makes up more stuff by noon than most lying politicians do in a year) but I do respect your right to your opinion and perspective, and it's nice to see that you respect U2's right to their own artistic voice.

Bono needs to shut the fuck up when it comes to politics. I'm from Brazil and I remember years ago when he praised and endorsed the communist scum Lula (ex-president of Brazil) clueless of what was going on in our country only guided by what the media said. Lula tried to turn Brazil into Venezuela, implanted the biggest corruption scheme ever in the history of the world, and now is about to go to jail.
@irishrose017 жыл бұрын
U2 have always been political. They can support whoever they choose to support. The only problem with a popular artist sharing their political opinions is that it can easily convince someone to believe or think a certain way without said person going out and finding out their own beliefs without influence.
@irishrose017 жыл бұрын
Scott Leisher I voted for Trump based on economics alone. I'm more libertarian than republican. I have very liberal beliefs on many things and do not consider myself a republican. Most people were very shocked when I said I supported Trump. I admit, recently he's done some things that might not have been the best move.
@Capirotinho7 жыл бұрын
I'm also a libertarian and I would have voted for Trump as well. The USA needs a Trump desperately. You guys need to get rid of Social Justice Warriors, political correctness and the corrupt establishment (personified in Hillary Clinton). And that psychopath Hillary needs to goes to jail.

I LOVE WHEN HE SAYS "YOUR A LIAR TRUMP!"
@u234217 жыл бұрын
In the second 0.22, the cowboy said you are a liar Trump????? Please someone confirm this to me. If i heard right this is the best part of this tour among the song, the hands, the Bono without glses and that hat!!!!!!

This is so good, but I'm surprised by one thing. The tension and timing of the 'Eenie meenie Minnie mo ' part is perfect to me right here in this performance, I've watched later shows and they've changed the timing of the vocal, and it's terrible now.

it is great ! until when he sing iniminibanibo binibinibanibo , strange
Pete Townshend, one of rock's greatest guitarists is jealous of Evans, the Edge, technique. Jealous in an honest and respectful way. And the Edge picked up some of his technique from Tom Verlaine from Television. But the Edge is the Edge. Has a very unique sound. If I was a guitarist, I'd love getting praise from Pete Townshend. His sound is The Who.
@thinman457 жыл бұрын
Also Johhny marr,he of the smiths said the Edge is one of the few guitarists post punk that developed an original sound all his own,he had his influences at the beginning but transcended them,Tom Verlaine been a big one for him.Coming from Johhny Marr thats high praise indeed.
@kevinmcgill68057 жыл бұрын
Love Johnny Marr. Tom Verlaine was a massive influence on so many guitarists. I only know that from reading their interviews.

Wicked version! So glad I viewed this. Now I am certain to skip this show. Not going to a show to see and hear my President slammed and in a cowardly way. I will simply pop in my Joshua Tree CD in and row row row on my rowing machine, enhancing my body while saving some bucks.

@irishrose017 жыл бұрын
How about just ignoring what you don't agree with and just enjoy the music. No one is forcing you to change. Their show, their prerogative. A Trump banner is not going to change anything except make you look like an ass hole or attention seeker when you obviously know their stance on things.
