As most people who visit this channel, I’m a mega U2 fan. But we all know they are a very polarizing band. I’ve tried to work it out over the years why that’s the case. I have theories. Some of those reasons I understand to an extent(anyone who constantly inserts themselves into politics is guaranteed to piss off half the population😂). Some of those reasons I don’t understand(like people who give them shit for actually doing good things for less fortunate people). The only reason I mention any of that is to qualify with them about to say.. I’ve never come across personally or on TV/film/radio anyone who has had a negative word about this song. No one. In fact, it’s the one thing that seemingly everyone can agree on regardless of background/politics/country of origin. Everybody from Chris Cornell to Axl Rose to Prince to Nick Mason to Rogan to Liam Gallagher and everybody in between agrees this is one of the greatest songs ever written. That’s quite an accomplishment.

Really, a Tremendous Set from Start to Finish although there was some hiccups, This was without a doubt an awesome show!. Happy to see that the ZOOTV Set return, and the entirety of Achtung Baby being played, the acoustic versions for Rattle and Hum, perfect. But I didn't get Love Rescue Me played on Bass!. It kind of shook my head really, Happy to see So Cruel in the set full band, But here's what I would've done for an encore, I would've changed it better. Elevation, Atomic City, Beautiful Day, Streets, With or Without You & Vertigo as the ending. Not saying that Beautiful Day was a bad choice to end the show. I just think Vertigo could've ended it, or something else like City of Blinding Lights, Pride, The Wanderer or 40!. Hopefully we see Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Year's Day, Pride & Bad, and some Zooropa songs as well. And also some acoustic stuff as well. Tomorrow's Night 2. They will probably rotate the set.

Nah I look at it as a change in the voice. Of course nobody stays young forever but his voice on new songs fits better than what his younger voice would and the way he used to sing.
