@@sexysadie2901 I think what he or she is saying is that the general public did not walk around with cameras for the most part, and cell phones and social media weren't even a thing yet. I've been lucky enough to have seen U2 twice in concert, and they DO NOT disappoint! I'm Irish and have seen them play Belfast and in their hometown, Dublin☘️'With Or Without You' is one of my fav U2 songs - they performed it at both concerts and I wept like a baby - it was just SO emotional! Both concerts were unbelievably amazing but seeing them play to THEIR DUBLIN was something I will NEVER forget! Bono is so interactive with the crowd and the band just kept on playing for hours. You should listen to 'The Unforgettable Fire', 'Pride', 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' (Rattle & Hum live version - Bono's speech was so necessary) & 'All I Want Is You'.....simply beautiful. 💕 PS U2 are known for playing impromptu gigs, especially in America. A few of years ago, for New Year's Eve they performed on top of the BBC building in London to a PACKED City!

U2 was huge...and still play sold out stadium shows to this day! They are the BEST live band I’ve ever seen. The connection they have with their fans is really close. They even have a 24/7 dedicated Sirius XM channel!! Definitely check out some 90s U2 like One, Even Better Than the Real Thing, or Discotheque.

@@JayveeTV This version of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' from Chicago 2005 is the bomb, with great sound quality kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIfYfpSfZd6cr68 And here is another anti-war song that is less famous but just as incredible live, from the same show kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZXXap57ap2ordk These will knock you right out ;)

@@JayveeTV The live from Red Rocks is a quality early live cut from them. Sunday Bloody Sunday is a deeply meaningful anti-war/anti-violence song opposing the British occupation of Northern Ireland. Meaningful related songs would be the Clash "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" and The Cranberries "Zombie" ... to name only a couple.

Thank you for doing U2 again! They are one of my favorite bands! You should check out Pride ( In the Name of Love), Sunday Bloody Sunday , Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses are all great songs!

I'm so glad you did the video for this song. It has a very special energy to it. This can give you just the tiniest example of how big this band was. If you do listen to the audio, get yourself a remastered version of it. People forget how old these albums are. The music holds up but the mixing doesn't. This video started with the radio station playing Bullet the Blue Sky. My absolute favorite U2 song. It is killer. Get thineself a remastered version of that song!

Back in the day wealthy neighborhoods had named streets and poor neighborhood streets were numbered with no names. Love U2 play more especially live is where they shine! Thank you for sharing!

I wasn't there that day, but I did see them play San Diego on that tour. I saw them in San Francisco on the tour before that one. Really great concerts both.
