I still hear my late son's voice through every single word used in this song. How I remember getting into his vehicle the morning he died, and the CD in the player went straight to this song. Deep song, for deep people, not many will know what went through the mind of the writer of the lyrics. But Bono did an unsurpassed genius of a performance. Huge U2 fan here, unfortunately and objectively speaking, Bono lost a step especially towards the end. Rock stars like Jon Bon Jovi, U2, Meatloaf, GnR are my heroes growing up, and it is sad to see all people around are getting old, and no longer able to sing the songs they are known for. Man, this was back when music was still magic. Don't get me wrong there's still some talented people out there, GOOD music is hard to make. I grew up in the 2000's and I am glad I got to listen to songs like these through my parents. Music back than was something else. No music nowadays makes me feel this way. No songs about money, living the RICH life, no autotune. Just pure talent and love.

Just about sums it all up. I'm not against autotune, but it is like overused. Making every other songs sounds very similar. I think it is this that make music boring. When a Chinese guy singing in Mandarin that sounds like (very similar to) an American singer singing in English, you'll know there must be something wrong there ... just my two cents.

My fighter jet pilot friend died day before yesterday to save civilian lives from the burning plane crashing on the neighborhoods. he brought the burning plane on the river , the plane crashed after a second when he ejected. he drowned because the life vest didn't work or his heart stopped. his little daughter and son and beautiful wife will live without him. i love you forever brother.

Syed Saim There used to be a band called “Joy Division” that were around in the 70’s. Their most famous song, “Love Will Tear Us Apart” was written by their lead singer Ian Curtis. Tragically, about 40 years ago, Ian Curtis committed suicide. In the end of this song, Bono sings, “Love will tear us apart, again” which is the chorus from Joy division’s song. Touch of class by Bono. Doesn’t deserve the hate he gets. R.I.P Ian Curtis
