Almost the same thing here. I was at a friends house in 82 and had never watched MTV, so he put it on and this was the video that was playing. I was pretty young and had never seen or heard anything like it. I was captivated as well, and for some reason, still remember that moment to this day.

lies... I like it. I love it. I was a teen in the 80's(class of 87) and its a great song. However, in no way, shape or form is it one of the best songs of the 80's. I will give it top 100 or so but nowhere near "best of the 80s" Just no. I love U2 but I am a realist and just no.
