Greetings, this was an informative video, but I was lost when he said he doesn't remove the high end puff the voice but rather the effect... How do you do that? How do you eq a track and eq only the effect without effecting the vocal? OR, if I just misunderstood please let me know.

A bit late for an answer, but maybe he has an aux channel for the effect, so he can separate the clean/dry and the wet signal, which allows him to eq the effect (wet signal) without affecting the dry signal.

I have one and the only thing that annoys me is that it doesn't clean up the studio when we're done tracking. :) other then that the apollo is amazing! Pres sound great on everyone but me... I have to use a different pre on my vox but the apollo is tits man. Just my opinion.

These really aren't tricks. I've done this with vocals for years. It just takes experimentation. If I endorsed UA, I could do a video just like this, as many of us could.
