This is by far the best demo I have seen, I have tried the plugin and most people say you can get a get clean tone but for me it was breaking up far to much and now I know why. Going to buy it now and it’s half price 🤑 thanks for the great demo.

I've never been a big fan of amp emulations (even the Kemper models haven't really been my thing), but this emulation is so impressive. This is really the first time I've heard a plugin, or even a modeler, that "feels" so good and has that tube depth. I really love that Beyer mic that you used. I used this plugin in a session recently and ended up purchasing it after spending a little time with it. The "normal" vs "line" inputs through me at first b/c I don't have an apollo (just a satellite) and was using a direct-in signal recorded guitar track. Flipping over the "line" and blending the instrument/mic channels was like a switch going off in my brain! Hah... really impressive. Looking forward to what UAD offers using this modeling tech that they've worked out on this plug. Great video, Mike!

Hey slamcrank, I have felt the same way and you may notice that there are very few amp model plugins that I review. I think it is the oversampling technology of UA that makes a great emulation of an amp like this possible. I have also been blown away by the Ampeg B-15N. One of my favorite bass amps. Cheers! Mike

the Brainworks ones sound superb too, give a try if you like me are a Fender guy to the Bassdude (Blonde 63 emulation) famous to be the Brian Setzer´s amp choice. more limited than this one on the mics and cabinets which are static impulse responses on all the Brainworks emulations. but they sound great to be emulations

Ok, thanks. But, it's just a DI'd guitar, correct? What is the level of the DI on track? The reason I'm asking so much about it is because I have the Apollo Twin and the 55 plugin but I'm not able to get such clean sounds as you're getting here... Thanks for the help!

I believe this is a DI'd guitar but the unison preamp will connect with this in a different way. You may have to bring down the output of your guitar not to overdrive the input of the amp.
