By alphebatical rule..u said 14:56 ethyl should have lowest no..but in eg . 22:36 U put 4 for ethyl as u taken from left to right order..why?? We can also take it from right to left too.? To get minimum no.

bro first we should number as per the FIRST locant getting the lowest number... if we get the same number then go for lowest sum rule and if we get the same answer there also then we'll go for alphabetical order.. we can't directly implement alphabetical order step... it should be considered only when the first two methods gave same answers. in the eg 22:36 as per the first step [i.e first locant gets lowest number] by numbering from left to right first locant (methyl) gets 2 but from right to left first locant(ethyl) gets 4. 3 is lesser than 4 so left right is tha crt numbering. i hope u understand

Sir I have one doubt 24:05 here for this structure As per the first rule first locant is same for both from R to L :3 , from L to R :3 Then as per the lowest sum rule it again same answer R to L : 3+4=7 ,From L to R : 3+4=7 then as per the alphabetical order both are same Ethyl Then sir how you have taken the sequence from L to R ? Plz explain sir 😢🙏🏻

If we do numbering from right to left then they get the positions 2 and 7 but from left to right we get 1 and 6 if we do the sum rule we get lowest sum from left to right so what sir wrote is correct

Sir I have doubt in goc that is In case of acidic strength of CHF3 & CHCl3 You said that CHCl3 is more acidic due to vacant d orbital which leads to back bonding. Sir why you did't use the concept of VCD because F and Cl are in same group
