As a new drone pilot (just under a year) this style of informative video is great! Would be very interested to also see similar videos of the upcoming Autel Nano/Nano +. My first and only drone is DJI - so reasonably familiar with the hardware/software, but clueless on other brands.

Yes, 12 MP is great for anything seen on a computer / phone. For larger prints, I'd want stronger resolution. Took some great photos!

Are there certain cell phones that will not work with the Skydio2 app? I got a new phone (Samsung S23 Ultra) and have not been able to add my drone to the app. It states that it cannot find the drone! It suggests using my phones settings of which in the wifi settings, it shows connected however, the app will not connect to the drone making it unusable to fly the drone. I have performed all the necessary resets to no success. I have been able to connect the app with my work cell phone, which is a Samsung S23 (not ultra) Advice?

Do you need the controller and Beacon or can you use phone for everything? Especially interested in follow mode.

When will the other videos be released? I'm riding my adventure bike to the Arctic Ocean in July. That is the main reason I bought the Skydio. Previously was using DJI zoom.

According to skydio support: "When it comes to high dynamic range(HDR) high data rates are required, because of that only the 4K data stream supports our full 13 stops of dynamic range. "

ND filter is definitely needed if you’re shooting on bright sunny days. I learned the hard way my first time out mountain biking with the drone. Majority of the footage was useless due to glare.

Very good video. I have a Mavic Pro and looking to upgrade to something else. I would like to start shooting Realestate Properties. I'm also still learning how to fly. IN your option do you think this is the one. #Note I'm a Realestate agent.

Hi William, what's wrong with your Mavic Pro? Great system! Particularly if you're starting out and still learning how to fly. I wouldn't necessarily recommend upgrading at this time.

great video. quick question, everytime i type in the password, from the bottom of the drone itself, it says my phone is unable to connect. says to edit the login info. ive done this a few times, and checked all the info a bunch. the only way i get to connect the app is to connect the beacon first, then connect my phone to the beacon. any idea what i might be doing wrong?

this video is a year old. Wasn't the 2 pro, the one with the fold up antennas, available? The tracking difference is night and day. Why would you do a review on an older model?

What is the point of switching camera views as you are speaking…. Very distracting and does not add anything to your presentation…. To me it looks like you want to impress someone with the fact that you are using two cameras. Cutaway or B roll shots of the drone itself would make more sense compared to just seeing another view of your face. You’re not the only one doing this kind of two camera work…. Seems to be a common trend…. Not a good idea…. Your content information is good, but improve your presentation….. regards… Ron
