I can see this radio being great for a small stealth drone setup, imagine having a small 3inch 1S drone with this radio, you can easy have it all in a small bag ready to go or as a lunchtime quick rip setup

I love Radio master with ELRS their taking over the market for great link quality. Not everyone have big hands. This will be great for kids and women with smaller hands. I fly the boxer and love EVERYTHING Radio Master comes out with being Master of all radios. Thank you stu great video

Looks a great little radio..... I'll definitely be buying one simply to try it over my Zorro. However my gut is telling me that I'll not like the push buttons to arm and disarm. I've had a Tango 2 and it's true you do get used to it however a toggle switch is soooooo fast when the shit hits the fan!

Thanks for review. Retiring the X-Lite and switching to Radiomaster Pocket. I have had a lot of the larger radios a X-Lite game style controller. This size is just right. I can also plug in my Crossfire module and fly my other quads. Radiomaster is kicking a$$

Like your videos. What about configuring switches. In addition to an ARM switch, I use a 3-position switch for "Flight Modes", and a momentary switch for the buzzer.

And it has become my daily radio for various reasons. Elrs, big battery, edge tx, module bay, several switches.... What's not to like?

lol... when you said it was RM TX vs Jumper AION RX, I thought you were going to say the Crystal Oscillator frequency issue bit you in the bum... as I had a failsafe after a minute or so of flying as the RX drifted too far off frequency :( I've also had a clipped antenna do me in... although in my case it was the VTX antenna, so recovery via the transmitter telemetry link was pretty easy.

I hate that my Radiomaster TX16S always takes up so much space in my bag. If I won the radio, I would sell my TX16S and donate the profits to charity. I want to eventually hike to my spots where I fly FPV with a smaller backpack.

I'm an RC airplane pilot, so I do not care about ELRS. What I do care about is the fact that this does not come with the 4 in 1 module, so it can not communicate with many receivers such as FlySky. Adding the module will cost an extra $60, so it's no longer a good value. Bummer.

I have tiny hands, the T16 is just way too big. I also travel for events a bit, so smaller is just easier to travel with. Most of my RC'ing is for combat robotics and the extra switches on the T-lite just didn't suit. These switches are approaching what we want. It's in Aussie stock, so buying one now.

Absolute beauty product and absolute beauty reviewer(wink wink stu) I bought the Jumper T-pro 2 weeks ago oh I wish I knew. But if Radiomaster is listening, is it just me or does Radiomaster have something against a legit gamepad looking remote in the gamepad radio price segment? The only reason I love my Jumper t pro is coz how well it feels in my hand when I'm casually flying on a random Tuesday after a bad day. I do have a TX16s for reference and for all the reasons we know the Jumper is not as good so I wanna love this radio but c'mon Radiomaster. Used to game a lot so maybe its just me idk.

Had a flyaway from the club field in Nowra into 40 acres of bush ,had video almost to the last with a Vista HD System but still didn't matter as the quad threw the batteryand it was a really dense patch of scrub with 30 mtre Gums as well, held funeral rites then and there crying as it was the maiden flight of a RTH Inav 6.1.1 Build

I'm on a jumper t-lite right now, but I'm fixin to go onto elrs and the t-lite only has the single 18650 inside. Does this hold like a gamecontroller? That was the main reason I preferred the t-lite over my tx16s

Can you put AGo1 mini gimbals in it though. The bolt pattern holes look like they would fit (maybe with a tiny bit of modification?) and the wires are identical.... One reviewer said they asked and was told No, But I think they would work with a tiny bit of exacto knife work or dremel motivation.

Stu!! you thumbers have it easy! LOL I got my girlfriend a Zorro and I tried so hard to like it because I like the form factor (as opposed to my QX7) but I struggled so hard to get used to the gimbal size and I feel like I would have the same issue with this one. I wish I could adapt to it though because I like the idea of flying a smaller radio. But I want to get longer gimbal sticks and stick them on the Zorro and try it out again. If I like it I think I would grab myself one of those Pocket radios.

I had a similar crash with a wing. It was deep in the swamp. Gator we’re jumping off as I walked out. Found the wing and it was still good to fly. Just ordered the radio. The Jumper T16s was a bit big.

That's where my GPS hold on transmitter loss really saved my behind. I lost radio link and my quad just froze in place and I had to get up off my chair and do a shameful radio dance to get it back....lol

Hi Stu, I have some comments: 1. kiss for raven and thanks for fixing your quad, and a hug for you for coming back 2. whaddup with jumper t-lite or radiomaster zorro, they are all compactier ... not to mention my tango2 pro that is out of the price class so it's not fair either, ok 3. can it have more tx power (only up to 250mW?) i believe my crsf would still have worked that far - tx would prolly have to go full watt if i snipped antenna off... 4. still lovely to have you back, sorry that you lost grumpy travor but raven will do for now, you can annoy him ahead of the video so he's grumpy for us :D love from melb

Stu can you please do maximum range test review for this radio? I know you were nervous flying after the first instance, but maybe if you could just fly not high off the ground (that way if it drops out you aren't falling from far and totalling your drone?) and push it to its maximum distance for us?

My throttle (left stick) friction is sticky, it seems static vs dynamic friction is off and results in stickyness. Has anyone here resolved this issue? I really need smooth input from standstill.

I was invited to your discord a few months ago by a friend, but I've never really checked out your channel. I saw the ping for this radio, and i just thought wow, that looks fkn amazing! To me its very similar to my jumper t pro, but perhaps slightly better. Idk if youve ever had a t pro, but how would you say the gimbals compare, because theyre one of the only things i think the t pro could do better. Orange is my favourite colour, but i think the clear looks pretty sexy on this radio. And im Aussie, too, I never knew you were. I think its time i go and watch some of your other videos too! but like you said, i dont even fly fpv😉 i also have a nazgul v2, its my first fpv drone it was quite the adventure in the mangroves, glad u got it back

Just bought one to give away to a kid who wants to get into RC. I was looking for something that was small but he wouldn't grow out of in a year or two. After playing with it and setting it up, I was impressed. Looks like it will hold up to the typical bouncing around a kid will give it but time will tell.

The Radio itself is great but the gimbal springs are horrible. Either they barely manage to center the sticks or you have to use massiv force to bring them to the outside.
