***THIS PRODUCT IS A CLONE OF THE AEROXCRAFT HALO*** For all those people out there wanting to support independent product design and engineering, you should know that that is a ripoff/clone/copy of the Aeroxcraft Halo which was designed in Burnley, Lancashire, UK.

Aurora Australis seems fitting ... made under the Southern Cross. And if you guys google "Aurora Australis" you'll see some equally good footage. I have to say Stu, this would have to be your best build for a long time given your components work so good together. Its like a kit and the best thing is its all available from the same online shop that we all know.

Does the flight controller you're using not have support for OSD? That was one of the cool features of the official build IMO. I was thinking about doing a DYI build like the one you did, but I want the flight controller to have built in OSD support so I can hack my TX03 for video in/out to OSD in-between camera and transmitter. Also hooking up the Banggood racing led stripe would be cool.

First off, awesome channel! I can't wait to see another video of this quad in flight, maybe after you get a few more 2s batteries. I've already gathered a list to build something similar to this. Hi Stu, I've been a fan of your channel since I stumbled across your upload on the Eachine Wizard "Best quad of 2016" which inspired me to build up a Realacc 5" racer. I'm a complete noob to FPV so have a lot to learn, and you've delivered again with this review of the Aurora 90mm. It looks like a good around the yard trainer. With your Aurora build, why did you choose the 1103 size motors rather than the standard 1104 motors? Have you had trouble with your props coming off? Does the lower height of the 1103s cause any clearance issues? Most of the 1104s offer screw on props. I'm in Brisbane, Thanks in advance, Arran

Nice build. Thank you for the video. KZbin has a list of channels they want to succeed, you and your sexy accent are on that list. They also have a list of channels they want to fail, they put me on that list after I asked them to fix a technical problem. You 're going to see some great numbers over the next few months. When we compared the aurora, the chaser88, the fat bee and the qx70 turbine, all in one video, we got 300 views. I thought the aurora just wasn't popular "or that I must be making bad videos", until I read an email from KZbin that confirmed they are removing older channels like mine from the search and suggested pages. Older channels are now required to pay for views. It sucks but no one cares and no one wants to admit it's happening.

I'm still waiting on my parts for this. I went with the 8000kv motors (10000 weren't in stock at the time). Did you have to raise the motors up off the frame to use those props? Someone In the RCgroups forum mentioned that the 1103s sit too low and some props will hit the ducting supports.

Kind of a bummer though that 4 months after publishing this video there still isn't even a hint of an AXC name in the video description. Stu, nobody is giving you a hard time because of the fact that it is a clone, because even if you knew, a review is always good and much appreciated. But the clone is getting so much more publicity than the original that I think mentioning the original somewhere in the description would be fair.
@avgvstvs966 жыл бұрын
AXC, you guys really messed up on this... You allowed this to happen. You should have sent the original AXC Halo to reviewers as soon as it was released. But instead you gave Eachine so much time they designed their own clone and send it out to reviewers before anybody even knew the Halo existed. I have a Halo. The thing OOZES QUALITY. The Aurora is complete crap compared to it. I don't even see any reviews by KZbinrs on the new AXC Halo 90 Evolution. Marketing is ESSENTIAL in this clone saturated business? As you can tell by this video, 150K views!! That's 150,000 people who could have heard about and purchased your superior design first. Lets see some reviews for the evolution :)
@grayfoxv8 жыл бұрын
This looks wicked and I bet it's a blast! But it's still a liiiiiittle bit "big" to be classed as a tiny whoop imo. Just a little bit. Something lighter, 20mm smaller and still brushless is the FuriousFPV MOSKITO 70. You'll no doubt lose some performance somewhere but it's closer to whoop size and a bloody rocket!! Will be keen to hear your opinion if you get hold of one, the industry is moving too fast to keep up! Only bought a beebrain inductrix a couple of months ago!

Awesome review. I was curious about this one, glad that you made a video. Also I have a quick question. I just started flying and got the Eachine VR-007's and put a cloverleaf antenna on them, I was anxious to get fpv flying and it was all my budget would allow at the time, I can't fly more than one room away in my house without getting a ton of interference. Is it something to do with the channel I use on the camera (jjpro jf-01), using PAL or NTSC or is it simply cause of the goggles? Sorry for not asking on your Q&A.
@kenfuciusfpv28007 жыл бұрын
the dream indoor brushless whooper would be very similar to this. What's missing is, if it crashes and lands inverted, I must get off my couch and turn it over. Can you please figure out how we could reverse the motors to flip it upright or even fly inverted?
