I always love seeing a draw 7 do massive amounts of damage with Underworld Dreams. Nice win out of nowhere.

@37:50 he didn't have to take damage from the Cities of Brass because they were already tapped , when he cast Hurkyll's Recall on Evo's endstep. Given some more games, I'm sure both these guys will optimize their play mechanics. Fun decks and fun games to watch.

I'm a little surprised the stone calendars added 2 to X for the mind twist. I didn't think you could reduce the cost of the x portion of a spell.
@TimmytheSorcerer10 ай бұрын
Yeah, x spells can lead to a lot of confusion. In this case, you first choose the value for x and then the cost reduction happens. So if you choose X to be 4, you pay B+(4-1)=B 3. I found this thread to be pretty helpful in explaining it, www.reddit.com/r/mtgrules/comments/wc7750/cost_reducers_x_spells/

I once had the strategy of only buying the cheapest print of cards so that I had a budget for cards that aren’t re-printed. Now I have a binder full of beta 😂
