UBC-C iPad docked with iPod Hi-Fi? Charging? Audio? Remote Control? Fully Functional?

In this video I'll attempt to dock a new USB-C iPad mini to Apple's old 30-pin iPod Hi-Fi speaker dock and try to get charging, audio, and remote control.

The USB-C splitter is plugged into the back of the USB-C dock. The audio cable and the USB-C cable coming from the DockBoss 5 adapter plug into the splitter.
