yes there are different buildings within place vanier mine is okanagan house

Hi Ruth, I'm also from HK and I'm so used to air conditioning everywhere- would you say it gets really hot during the warmer months?

if there is a heat wave, usually in july/ august, and you have no ac then it will be pretty hot but the avg temp in vancouver is pretty chill so you should be fine🙌

only newer buildings have AC, all buildings include heaters but i believe for year one residence only Orchard Commons have AC. students usually prepare their own fans as the dorms will not provide you one

Hi Which is the nearest dorm to Computer Science building? How much is the monthly rent for the dorm? How far is the distance from the dorm to Computer Science building?

most of the friends i know study comp sci is living in place vanier and its is actually closest to most art and science subjects, around 10-15 walking distance , around 1000 cad per month for a single room in Vanier but 1500cad for including meal plan (which is required to get the)
