Ube Cake with Creamy Ube Icing

This is a tub cake. Tub cakes became very popular during the covid pandemic. They were called tub cakes because they were literally placed in tubs or containers. Cakes were baked directly in the tubs/containers OR cakes were cut up to fit into the tubs. After they are baked, icing is poured and spread on top of the cakes. These icing are more of a sauce than an icing in consistency. This was very convenient during the pandemic when orders were sent our thru couriers. This ube tub cake is one of the more popular ones.
