I have made my 1st Ube cake and I just made it plain without frosting but my family especially my almost 2 year old grandchild says the cake is yummy, I was so proud I baked it well, made 9 cupcakes and 2 kiki rectangular cake.... thanks a lot and having an idea of blending it with another recipe ... hope I can make it and thank you kuya boyet for sharing this recipe I really love it...

Thank you po nakagawa na ko ng mango cake at sobra nasarapan mga anak ko ginawa ko lng po yun tinuro nyo im a first timer at wala ko lutuan tlga ng cake steamer lng ginagamit but naachive ko pa rin yun texture at lasa ng sponge cake katamtaman lng po ang tamis super love it and also i have a diabetes but tikim tikim lng po di nmn cya sobra tamis kya diko mapigilan di kumain im very thankful po sa mga turo nyo.. ☺☺

Hello! new subcriber po sayong channel kuya boyet... Sayang nahuli ako ng nood ng ube cake mo unfortunately nakabili na ko ng ibang ing. Pero nakita ko mas konti ang ing. ng ube cake mo kaya nagtry ako since may mga ing. Na ko. At totoo nga "masarap at moist". fyi po... Since wla po akong gamit na katulad syo tinray ko pa rin.Whisk lang po ang gamit ko sa pag mix. Steam for 35 minutes, actually 30mins. lang luto na sya, perfect! Nagustuhan ng family ko, Ang sarap kahit walang icing. Eto na ang gagawin kong ube cake. Thank you so much kuya boyet!☺️ Godbless you!

Gumawa ako nito para sa birthday ng kapamilya ko, sinundan ko ang recipe. Moist naman siya. Kaso, sobrang matamis nga Lang at mabigat sa tiyan kaya Hindi masyado nakain sa bahay...naumay yata sila. Tips sa gagawa nito: (1) Bawasan ang sugar sa cake, lalo na sa icing, (2) Gumamit ng ube halaya na Hindi matamis (kasi matamis na mismo ang cake at icing), and (3) Kung gagamit kayo ng macapuno, bawasan ang sugar sa icing (kasi matamis na rin ang macapuno mismo). Magta-try pa rin ako ng ibang recipe ni Kuya Boyet tulad Ng Mocha cake niya (na maganda ang reviews). Sa tingin ko, Hindi niya forte (sorry po.. ✌️) ang ube cake, Kaya magta-try na Lang ako ng ibang recipes niya.

I baked this cake for christmas. The texture of the cake is soft and moist, add 1 1/4 cup halaya. instead of smb i use cream cheese as frosting. Sabi mo nga this is a dense cake kaya mabigat talaga sa tyan a small slice is just enough. But its delicious naman. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

I tried this today in mini bundt cake. It was soft and moist, and the only thing I want to change next time would be the vanilla and sugar. A little too much for me, I think 1 teaspoon of vanilla is enough
