It’s more personal while third-party food delivery services are more detached from that service obligation. Like playing telephone but with food. There’s more room for human error.

I quit uber eats yesterday because of things like this. After a certain amount of screwups by drivers and restaurant staff they will eventually not refund you, even though youve sent in proof smh. I needs either my food right or my ends which they refused to give.

Whenever I fuck up I’ll call Uber myself and tell them , I was speeding with Starbucks and the customers drinks tipped over . I called because they’ll cut the driver off after a while and I wanna make sure the customer gets their money back .

I’m in the suburbs but when I travel out the country and use Uber eats they have a carried strapped to the front of their bikes that keeps it’s leveled, protected and hot. I would have flipped if I was in the same spot so glad you kept it together.
