A MOTHER-of-two has been born with a rare birth defect that has resulted in her having no hands. Despite being born without hands, Janet Brown, 31, from Durham, North Carolina, didn’t let her condition to stop her and even became an Uber and Lyft driver. Janet told Barcroft TV: “There is no everyday task that I can’t do - my condition doesn’t stop me from doing anything.”

Watching all of these "Born Different" videos are helping me cope with my deformity. I almost had my foot amputated but I don't have a heel. Also, all of my skin was ripped away from around my ankle. With regards to her driving, there is no doubt that she is an excellent and safe driver. However, sometimes it is not sufficient for just her to be safe and there can be times where the another driver makes a mistake. Under those circumstances, I am not sure whether she has the reflexes to react or respond to the situation. This is just an assumption, and If I am wrong then kudos to her.

I got a bad infection almost three years ago that left me with little function of my right arm. I'm lucky they didn't take the arm completely off. However these videos definitely humble me knowing that it could have been so much worse and I could have it so much worse. I could feel down because I get frustrated about my hand my arm, however this woman right here is able to do so much, all of your videos motivate me instead of pulling me in the other direction like I used to do. I had to stop feeling sorry for myself. Hearing stories like this always help.
