Thanks mate! This is a stat that’s always really interested me but I feel gets muddy when you’re trying to understand a clear picture from all the different structures that own property and may or may not be taken into account

Nice and very inspiring story, I have very much similar story to my property portfolio, started 2020 and have done 4 properties by just working in retail and driving uber, nothing is impossible, financial freedom lies in the hands of myself.

Great question! We didn’t go into detail in the recording but I believe trusts started getting introduced about 5 properties in, you looking at when’s the right time to start purchasing in a corporate trust structure?

I started to introduce Trusts for the more recent purchases and personal name for the recent owner occupied purchase.

If u get equity out without 2 tears, the mortgage broker gets claw back so how do u get equity?

Great question, if you’re using the same broker they get a claw back on the loan but re write a bigger loan recouping their com and getting more, or sometimes you just need to switch brokers if you want to move fast and they don’t want to and they will get a claw back

You can get another valuations with the same lender and extract equity without having to refi. If not a quality broker understands this refi will allow them to get a larger amount approved and funded and that is how they make more money.
