Bro as a Tasker for 4+ years now, the goal is make more for less hours. And be good at something that others can't or don't want to do, I charge minimum rate $37/he and I'm always booked up, and usually weeks ahead. I make anywhere from 4k to 6k if I really want to make more hours. 120hrs a month with tips is 5k

I don't know what issues you guys have but I've worked on this app off and on for 2yrs and am always Elite. I made Elite early by my second month. I live in the Washington DC area and I slowly crep my rates. I charge $55 an hour for furniture, $60 per hr for moving (no truck but did have one early on when I started) and $75 an hour. Clients that can afford this type of service usually have no issue with paying you. What they want is GRADE A++ quality. They want to see quality reviews. They want to see RECENT reviews that leave almost every client writing a paragraph of a review one or twice a day. You want to sell yourself and WOW customers. No breaks, work consistently, be efficient and hyper productive. These type of people can smell a bullshitter because you can't bullshit to get anywhere in life and these people work hard in their profession, they want to see you out working them. These people BLOW my phone outside of the app too. Helps offset and relieve the taxable income. Cash in hand is always nice. Charge what your worth and be worth what you charge. I've made 13k on my highest months. Average about 7k-8k a month. If had moving van, I'd roll even harder. If you doing moving and intend on doing this fulltimw, workout in the evenings. You're damn near a athlete and working out helps prevent injury. If you injured, you ain't making money. Also, plan for taxes at the end of the year. Uncle Sam ain't gonna play no games if made 90k in the year and he ain't get his cut. He'll cut yo ass.

I am a female lyft driver. Today I would not allow a young man to ride in my car because he was using a girl's lyft rider account. It is my own safety policy not to pick up people who are not the person that ordered the ride, as I have no idea who they are. In light of the recent horrific murder of Christina Spiccuzza by Calvin Crew, I have been extra cautious of situations such as this. Lyft has deactivated my account because I did not pick this unknown male up. Grate help from you sir orwadecyber Thank you for your continued support of drivers everywhere.

They need to make it where you can accept or reject a task rather than being assigned it. Then the client can choose from the list of Taskers who have accepted. I come across too many that the client has filed it in the wrong category, or the job is that which requires an actual plumber, electrician, HVAC. It kills my acceptance rate. Like today I had one trying to get a whole new septic tank and a whole new toilet for their shed. Like no guy, that requires permits and specialized licenses.

Thank you . I have been really happy with this as well . You are one of the ones that i watched when i first started my task rabbit and you are totally right, For sure you are going to get a bunch of random requests that sometimes are not even in the right catagory. I full service moving requests in the moving help section where my rates were lower but i worked it out . then set my rates higher than usual and matched them in both catagorys incase i have this problem again it wouldnt be an issue for me. My rate for full service moving is 90hr and i am booking jobs, i set my rates very high. Dont be shy to bump it up. Especially towards the end of the month. I just started taskrabbit. I had only two. I like the concept. And I want to do taskrabbit because I've worked a lot. From retail to funeral home to grocery store to automotive and warehouses. I know I just started. But I feel that with all the places I've worked. And everything else thru my life. I'm ready to take the next step. Any advice, ideas, ways to make taskrabbit work more, earn more, more tasks. If your wondering about the many jobs. When one is a high functioning autistic adult, I'm employable but getting hired isn't easy. The interviews not my strong point. But I come a long way. Any help in any way so I can be more successful on taskrabbit is appreciated. I am in the Chicagoland area.

so I don't use TaskRabbit, yet, but my best advice for you is to just keep applying, and applying and applying and don't worry about being a "job hopper" because it's just something that other more 'normal' people can't understand. just stay busy and follow your interests and be open about your high functioning nature, especially during an interview. you will have more knowledge in your life than most and I promise you it's important to society. Just take jobs, bid on work, raise your rates and do your best. The old saying goes "jack of all trades, master of none", but people don't know the next line, "is still always better than master of one".

one way to reach financial freedom is utilizing these gig apps/platforms to create your own funnel and returning customers. there's articles out there that state this. what these successful ex-taskers did was simple: 1. BEGINNING offer categories where you currently have skills @ competitive and sometimes low rates for your labor until you become confident and create a value for yourself and services 2. MIDDLE build relationships and gain repeat customers; word of mouth 3. MIDDLE complete certain amount of jobs and maintain good ratings (quality work); reputation 4. FINAL become independent build your own app/platform/website and get off the tr and gig app/platforms

I made that $25 back within the first 3 hrs of signing up plus more so I would say yea it's worth it . I've been working through the platform for 2 months now and already basically elite and I've made almost 5 grand in April alone. People don't understand that they have an opportunity to make more money then they ever would working for a someone else. Run it like a business! Bc that's what it is , Your own business. Show clients why your better then the other taskers that could of been picked , Get good reviews and Most of all You gotta Hustle! If your not a Hustler and a Go-Getter and willing to bust your ass and put in work for first few months then you aren't gonna make crap .. It's a grind but if you willing to push yourself in beginning then you start raising your rates and eventually don't have to do so much it pays off . I made the decision to not work for any one else anymore 2 months ago bc I was done with dealing with the bullshit and having another person(s) in control of how much I bring home and I'll never turn back.

Great. My job is in moving. Problem is that people can be very unrealistic and expectations when it comes to moving. I have moved pianos buffets. I have done packing. But one thing for sure is when it comes to this industry the more intelligence you have on what you are going to getting yourself into the better it will be. Nothing is as infuriating as going to a job and then you have something that is required for the job that unfortunately you did not have any knowledge on this. Perfect example I had to go to a residence and just pack some beds in picture frames. Simple enough I get there turns out that yeah the beds were no prom the picture frames were no problem but there was a mirror that had any packed for a dresser it's a good thing I brought my tools. However there was also a pair of bull horns and a skull attached to it that had to be packed and no one from the office staff had bothered to tell me about that. Thank goodness I had brought some extra material and got a little creative

Hey bro, the same by me. And I couldnt understand why I have zero jobs as well. Previously I was doing plumbing for 120$ and it was close to the red circle highest mark, but now this highest price dropped to 65$, so it means that my nowdays rate is too high. I was thinking about 2 factors first: the total amount of taskers is increased and thats why demand for jobs got low; or just simply holidays season. But now Im pretty much sure, they changed something to the system, that influenced taskers from the neagative point of view.

So sorry. I do delivery but I try not to do grocery shopping. One week I delivered for Instacart and the 2nd or 3rd day, a customer tried to do that. So no Instacart for me.
