They gave them Jagirs means huge land as gift for some good work for British and of course against indian govts . This used to be the system through out the county . Ancestors of Dyial Singh Majithia ( founder of tribune) were general of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Dyial Singh Majithia had no children. He made many trust like tribune trust and gave property to trusts. A small portion of property about 600 Kilas could not be given to trusts . After the death of Dyial Singh Majithia the grandfather of Lali Majithia , Parkash Singh Majithia and father Rajmohinder Singh went in to court and claimed that they are from the branch of ancestors of S.Dyial Singh and thus this land came in to their part from the court.Otherwiseb, these families were very poor but became rich after getting property of S. Dyal Singh Majithia. Raja Surat Singh and Rani Jinda were together arrested.British Government gave Jagir to Surat Singh at Sardar Nagar in UP. This family was the biggest producer of Sugar in India.Elder Brother of Sunder Singh Majithia was Sardar Umrao Singh Majithia . Both were Sons of Raja Surat Singh.S.Umrao Singh Majithia was anti British government and. British Government forefieted the half jagir which pertained to Umrao Singh Majithia.Umrao Singh had no Son and he had only one daughter.Name of daughter was Amrita Sher gill. Her mother was french.Amrita Sher Gill was world famous painter and she died young . She was married to a Doctor and had become penniless because their Jagir was forfeited by British Government. Surat Singh was the grandson of Fatheh Singh Majithia. Fathe Singh ' one Son was Attar Singh and Surat Singh was the Son was of Attar Singh. Surarat Singh was also genral of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Chanda Singh was the second Son of S. Fathe Singh . Chanda Singh had three Sons. Eleder Son was Karam Singh Majithia who was Engineer in Indian railways. During British rule. Younger brothers of Karam Singh were managers in wine and sugar fatroriies of S .Surjit Songh Majithia. Name of one brother of S . Karam Singh Majitha was Gurbachan Singh After retirement Karam Singh lived at Majitha and expired in 1985.Elder Son of Karam Singh was also manager of Surjit Singh Majithia at Sardar Ngr .He was not married and while he was cleaning the gun ,the gun got fired and it injured the son of S. Karam Singh and he died at spot.Second Son of Karam Singh was S. Rajinder Singh and he was married and he was my Fufar ji.Third Son of S.Karam Singh was S. Balbir Singh . Balbir Singh served in air India and he also not got married..Chubara of S. Fathe Singh remained with my Fufar ji and Bhua Ji . This Chubara might be 2oo years old. Now this chabara has come in the custody of wards of Gurbachan Singh ( brother of Karam Singh) but none is living in this chabara since from the last 4o years.Adjoining to this Chabara Raja Sirat Singh had a palace type house but now this place is with some body else .My self being very close to this Khandan , I can tell that Surjit Singh Majithia never came to Majitha. His Son Satyajit Singh never came to Majitha. Bikram Jit Singh came to Majitha when he jumped in to politics . But Bikram Jit Singh Majithia himself not visited house of Raja Surat Singh nor he visited the Adjoining Chubara of S Fathe Singh which is in the custody of wards of S. GurbachanSing.( Brother of S.. karam Singh Majithia). Nor Bikram Jit Singh knows the wards of S. Karam Singh Majithia. None of the wards of brothers of Karam Singh lived in Majitha . They lived at Sardar Ngr (in UP.- Gorakh pur District) .None of them ever visited Majitha.

All fact are good with great information . Now about Kandahar incident . All badname and raised questions on BJP ( i am not BJP follower ) but question is if they killed all the passagers whe who world will blame the then govt . And images the situation when so many dead bodies will reach .the other thing did a single family come forward and told the govt that they are with govt . Don't do any deal . So the govt was forced to deal with terrorists. Mr Gill must remember when Mr Mufti of kashmir was Home minister of the country his daughter ( Mahbooba'S sister ) was kidnapped by some terrorist group .Although there was news that she herself made the story anc may be right mufti himself thanked Pakistan govt who helped for peaceful election . This was news in news papers and Mahbooba still helped the Pakistani group . Any way but indian govt for one woman released so many terrorists . Rather this also that during maharaja Ranjit Singh time during Ropar meeting many punjab sikh state Raja like patiala ,Nabha , Faridkot Kaporthala, jind and many other under the leadership of maharaja patiala met British Viceroy and asked him to save them from Maharaja Ranjit Singh . They are ready to accept their supermacy and ready to accept all the conditions . That's why that treaty of Ropar was signed and stop maharaja Ranjit Singh not to cross river Satluj .
