Just a tip for speaker wire connections on amps ferrule connectors give it a clean look, plus no stray wires either.

I'm curious as why you'd need both the Sonos amp and the Sonance DSP ? Wouldn't the Sonos amp alone provide the ceiling speakers - power and room control?

The Sonance amp is running all of their exterior Sonance landscape speakers (previous install from a different company). The Sonos amps we installed will be for the future zones in the basement that will be completed once construction is done.

@@teaching_technology might be a dumb question but are you plugging the Sonos amp into the dsp? If so, why on that? Better eq I’m assuming? Also - thanks for the reply!!

No the Sonos amps will have their own speakers tied back to them. The DSP amp was only for the exterior zone in this existing setup

@@teaching_technology okay makes sense - Sonos amps will control their own zones. Thanks for the clarification. Just learning more about this home automation setup - obviously looking into Control 4 , Savant and Crestron.

Happy to help! Yes Sonos amps will control their individual zones (same as if you were using a Sonos Era100 or other all in one speaker from Sonos) We do both Savant and Control 4 installations and you will love either option. Feel free to reach out if we can help!

Camera should be stationary for the majority of the video. Painful to try and watch a head mounted camera ~
