Not a fan of Ubisoft behaviour on a lot of things, but considering that Breakpoint had 2 different modes to play the game and one of them is a fully immersive stealth, with the option to turn off the HUD. In that case the way you approach the enemies is vital to your success in missions. Without that mode, is really a dumb looter shooter game.

I miss when games were fast and actually looked good. Something I think has been ruined is good graphics because of how many polygons are being slammed on the screen while looking blurry with taa for no reason. I look at most aaa graphics nowadays and I notice that they really haven't looked any better visually since about 2015. They just try cramming the screen full of really bad blur filters, over saturated colors, and smear it full of really bad and overexposed fog and it all runs super poorly while looking really bad. Whatever happened to taking real life scans of people and places and mimicking cameras? That used to look and run so much better than these new games that look super puffy and like I have floaters in my eyes constantly.

one of the reasons why i stick to ubisoft stuff from around the time. or to be more specific 2000s up to 2014 or so, stuff. like to me, outside of siege all ubi games start to blend into the same, collobarative mess, like ghost recon? now its far cry with military setting. assassin's creed being annual, i think. i mean settings themselves are cool, but they play more or less the same, far cry i can't even bring myself to play, watch dogs is fine i guess. like by comparison to today ubisoft open world after open world, back in the time period i mentioned they had variety. like i'm a clancy brand guy & it, at the time had lots of stuff? GR, TPS with bossing guys and vehicles around, R6? pre-planning FPS, HAWX with jets, endwar with strategy. even outside of clancy brand, assassin's creed of late 2000s are my favorites (cookie-cutter ezio collection answer, but like c'mon they were hella fun) & far cry 2 are my favorites

They cancelled it, because elements of the story were too close to the actual event and they wished to be respectful to the victims and their families. -- I remember Patriots, being excited about it, and watching news coverage of that Bombing. -- Ubisoft not wanting to lose everything... released the multiplayer. While players were disappointed, we all know Siege got very popular as Ubisoft continued to develope it as it's run for almost 9yrs now. -- I do wish to have another Rainbow Six game, but if it has to be live-service.... 😂 Im good.

Being completely apathetic & out of touch with the communities around their games. Demanding every franchise - including their single-player ones - be live service microtransaction bloated grindfests. Experimenting with en-ef-tees & wanting them in all of their games *despite the fact* they are fully aware nobody wants them - not even their own employees. Reducing once mighty & prestigious franchises that were juggernauts in their time down to little more than cameos in their live service games - which are being held together by little more than duct tape & loctite from the aging hardware they're unable to overhaul because it goes against the entire idea & foundations of live service games. All of it can be traced back to greed. In one way, or another. Greed kills everything it touches, except for the greedy.

Hyperspace came out as a mess, but they fixed it and it soon became my favorite Battle Royale. The issue is Ubisoft wants immediate results. They cancel games when they see a negative reception instead of attempting to address the issues with people have. I was excited for heartland, but the issue is it was too different from the division and didn't give you the ability to make builds and really get immersed in your character and playstyle like the division was known for. If they had just made it like survival from division 1 I think it would have had a much better reception, but Ubisoft is lazy. They want to put te same cookie cutter bullshit by releasing Far Cry and Assassin's Creed in such lame ass boring states. Every open world is the same experience as the last.

3:28 hard disagree there, Breakpoint played FAR better than Wildlands did, played Breakpoint first and when I went back to try Wildlands I hated how rough it felt in comparison

@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it RB6 Patriots had US veterans committing acts of terror in the US. I didn't have Internet at the time, but the trailer and gameplay they showed Game Informer had them strapping an explosive vest to a guy and telling him he had to get somewhere or they'd end his daughter. The RB6 operatives would try then try and fail to stop him while he begged them to save the daughter. The titular "Patriots" were a terror group. This was around the time that we found out vets were automatically on the radar of national security agencies.

Wildlands is one of my all time favorite games. I've put hours and hours into that game across my Xbox and PC. Not a perfect game but so so much fun and feels unique. I love it.
