In my humble opinion It's a crying shame that 'Lee' isn't getting shed loads of hits, he has to be, if not the best self-protection teacher in the country, then certainly one of the very best. However people struggle with the truth and that's what 'Lee' is teaching people, the truth in combat. More power to your elbow.

People want their Kobra Kai gee and rising sun headband more than they want the truth....That's why the classes are so small....I've been training in R.B.S.D or U.C (whichever you prefer to call it) with an instructor that trained with Lee and each session maybe has about 5 or 6 students max.

Oh man, I am a little bit sad now. I used to do this kind of execises in my youth. Now, in a few weeks I turn 50. My knees and my shoulders are aching all the time. Why do I watch a video like this and wallow in reminiscences? I´m getting old!

Calisthenics are crazy hard. I was also big into the Olympic movements, but the difference in strength profiles between the two amazed me. I add weights to plymotrics only now.

Great stuff. Couldn't do any of it myself. Have trained very differently with pig iron for many years. The gross strength you accrue is awesome, especially when in your forties and are easily out lifting most in their twenties. But Lee, what you can do is absolutely incredible.
@UrbanCombatives8 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, I lifted for years also, only made the transition to primarily callisthenics a couple of years ago although I still deadlift these days!

Can someone please explain, why the relocate after the clinch?
@darrylsmith4525 жыл бұрын
If you are asking about the clinch that Jamie has (the bigger guy in the black T shirt) on the guy and is moving him around before hitting him, it is to simulate multiple attackers and the need to keep a 'barrier' (one of the attackers) in between you and them. I hope this answers your question. 😊
