А: All doctors are kind (zy) - - - Calculation: ((xy+xy’)*(zy))/Y = (xyz)/Y = xz = zx [«/Y» - it’s delete middle term] - - - 3. A: There is people so as doctors (xz) [meaning only as «kind»] (equivalent: 3. A: There is doctors so as people (zx)) «There is…so as…» - in volume for this 3 syllogism’s notion

Hi, I prefer this method compared to the arrow method for some reason. Is it possible to use only the venn diagram method in DM or are there situations where I'll have to use the arrow method?

Great sorry, but… CONCLUSION FOR ANY SYLLOGISM CAN CALCULATE INTO ALGEBRAIC FORM. Seems for your example 1 (10:50): 1. Some teachers are blessings 2. Some blessings are pencils Algebraic (remember George Boole!) calculation: x - teachers, y - blessings, z - pencils 1. I: Some teachers are blessings (xy+xy’) 2. I: Some blessings are pencils (yz+yz’) - - - Calculation: ((xy+xy’)*(yz+yz’))/Y = (xyz+xyz’)/Y = (xz+xz’) = x(z+z’) - - - 4. I: Some teachers are pencils (xz) [and some teachers are not-pencils (xz’)]
