I dropped out of the OTA program to switch to a batchelors of healthcare administration. I loved learning about OT as it was interesting but my passion grew for more of a business side of things where I can make broader changes that affect the lives of multiple people instead of just a singular person. It is my goal to run a hospital and find ways of making certain procedures cheaper without cutting corners while making a profit raising the salaries of certain healthcare professionals. I would love to be a program director to start with making new programs available.the cool thing about my program is that it is 15 months continuous with no breaks with 8 week modules where I do 2 classes in those 8 weeks then switch up the classes after every 8 week period. I start in a few weeks and am already tempted to apply to full time internship since the program is fully online. Beat part is the school I’m going to is the same school I did my OTA program in which I know is definitely accredited instead of some of these online schools where one never knows if it is even accredited or properly accredited.

Just curious where the information about the 83,200 starting salary was obtained? I couldn't find any sites that support this claim.

It depends on the setting or what type of OT you want to be. work with children you make less, work with the older people you make more.
