When I first got to Hawaii, the first food i made is lumpia. Boy oh boy, now I’m like a walking lumpia whenever i go to party! They always ask for lumpia, chocolate meat and adobo.

But quick question how do you guys understand the Tagalog, I’m ilocano, with that being said Tagalog is based on pilipino, ilocano is another language and tribe in the Philippines. But westerners considered our language as dialects but that is not true, it is a language, because all pilipino’s we all understand Tagalog and we speak it, but Tagalog people they don’t understand the ilocano, even the people from Cebu we don’t understand if they talk to us in visaya, we have over 170 languages in the Philippines

You need to do a part 2 of this. Basing on the appearance of the food (except the chorizo and lumpia), they're pretty bad takes of the original recipes. Choose a rated resto next time. Dinuguan is supposed to be life changing if the cooked the right yummy way. Bistek too. Sinigang is Sinigang. It needs to be sour for first timers just to embed it in their memory like how Tom Yum is to first time Thai food tasters. The lechon kawali definitely wasn't crispy and you said tasted bland. It needs a certain type of taste, which you get from being boiled first before getting fried up. Samoan friend, the only person of Samoan descent that is familiar to Filipinos is a retired long time national team basketball player named Asi Taulava. He's supposed to be half Samoan and half Filipino although a bit controversial because there's talk that he faked his documents just so he can play in and for the Philippines.
