Another nostalgia throwback this week with Uchiage Hanabi! This song slaps so hard, I used the widest possible piano range for the second chorus in 2:18. Playing these bass rhythms in the left hand has never been more satisfying! Everyone, thank you for watching!

Seeing Animenz's technique improve over the years is probably the most incredible thing to me. He was already talented 6 years ago, and he could have just stayed at that level, but instead kept improving his skills and learning new ones, and seeing things like the three-hand jumps with crossed hands done almost casually now just blows my mind, not to mention the multiple rhythms or playing some notes louder than others during already fast sections. He makes this look a lot easier than it really is, and it doesn't look easy to begin with.

Thank you so much for making this Animenz! This has to be the most addicting song for me when it came out. Impressive stuff with the 3 hand technique again man, it really does sound like every layer of the original song is being perfectly transcribed into the piano. I also really like that addition of arpeggios in the last chorus, it's really distinctive.
@Animenzzz3 жыл бұрын
The arpeggio scale in the last Chorus was actually the result of me randomly improvising on black keys only and then trying to figure out, how to include it in the final chorus with the three hand technique. The best ideas are always born completely randomly, haha

The repeated notes from 00:50 to 01:00 reminds me of Ebb and Flows in your Nagi No Asukara Medley The additional melody from 02:39 to 02:55 reminds me of final chorus of your Hacking to the Gate The three hand technique from 03:27 to 03:42 reminds me of the polyphony of your silhouette By the way ,if i’m not wrong , most piano has no damper attach to the string from E6b and above ,so I think that even if not holding the G6b at 04:25, it will still sustain and be audible in the background. Amazing work as usual, looking forward to your next arrangement !
