5 years later, Sparkle is still one of my favorite Anime Movie Soundtracks of all time and it never fails to bring me a smile whenever I am listening to it. Also, Moonlamp-chan has finally evolved into "Cometlamp-senpai" in 4:21! There are a lot of things I would like to say to you animenz but out of all of them I would like to say that your music has truly touched my heart. I am not a super OG fan or anything and actually just discovered your channel 6 months back but I am so glad that I did. Your music has shown me how much the piano can do and inspired me to play the piano with an enthusiasm I had long lost. Whenever I want to clear my mind I sit in front of the piano and continue to learn your pieces because the difficulty makes it all the more entertaining and rewarding to play. I recently underwent surgery for my fractured wrist and I can say with absolute certainty that it is your music that has kept me going through the days of pain. Although I won’t be able to play the piano for a while I still sit in front of the piano and listen to your music and practicing with the one hand I have and it is still the most joyful part of my day. I can confidently say that you are one of the best arrangers of our time (def not biased here) and I hope to see you next week with the next cover. P.S. I’m waiting for your cover of My Truth (Your Lie in April) :)

@zengarang3 жыл бұрын
The way the globe color syncs up at 5:27 is quite poetic, ushering in the emotional climax of the piece and the movie. EDIT: Finally got a chance to listen on a proper sound system and wow, what a beautiful cover. I enjoy vibrant and resonating lightness of the entire first section, culminating in a bold first "chorus" at 1:55. The rolling nature of the left hand lends to a nice ambling feel. The way that the cover sinks back into such a wonderful lightness following the first chorus at 2:30 is also quite pleasant. At 3:19, the extended second verse starts to build ever so wonderfully with a crescendo-ing melody into the magestic second "chorus". The way that the bass is done with a perfect touch that makes it ring in such nice bell tones, for me, is the glue that holds this cover together so well. The call and response nature is already getting a ton of love from the comments section, but for me, my personal favorite motif is the rhythmic arpeggiated triplet right hand that's prevelant throughout. It lends a steady pace to the piece, undulating like a series of ebbing high and low tides, which serves as the perfect backdrop to the various sections and creates such a nice buildup to each of the bold bell toned climactic sections. As I've mentioned before, this is by and far one of my favorite anime OSTs of all time. The "movie style" structure (sans traditional verse chorus ordering) lends to the perfect wave-like series of ever increasingly bright climaxes. 3:42 is always a milestone "mini-climax" moment for me preceding the giant pre-final climax silence. Thank you for finally doing your take on this amazing piece! It was quite enjoyable 😊

What a talent. Not only in piano play, but also in evoking feeling long lost inside a nearly empty heart. You and the music you play, the way how you play, is magnificent. Truly magical. It made me stop and imagine beautiful fantasies of clear night sky full of stars and infinite dreams that are waiting to come true one day. May you have an amazing day everyone. 💙

This, while being different from the original, is still the best arrangement out there. Personally been waiting for his rendition of Sparkle, and the wait totally payed off.

I already loved this song, but I love it even more when I hear your cover. It gives me chills. You are amazing, no lies. It takes me back to the old days when everything was still fine, a time when my only problem was deciding which anime to watch Thank you for this; I am always watching it, but this is the only time that I feel compelled to say thank you to you. Your cover has become a part of my lonely days
