@HF Trust Do you think typing false & hateful comments from the basement of your mama makes you a greater patriot than the man who oversaw the killing of Osama Bin Laden and the capture of Saddam Hussein? Kid, you need to learn more about life before typing.

19:19: David Axelrod: "What the hardest day you had in your 37 years?" Admiral Mc Raven: "Unfortunately after 9/11, and in the course of my in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan, I lost a lot of great men and women." Mind you, the Admiral has been in the midst of many deadly battles and had several injuries during his career. One in particular was almost made him paralyzed and lost his career. But no, he didn't mention any of that. The worst day for him was when he lost a fellow soldier. 20:20: David Axelrod: "What about the proudest day? What is the day that you look back at and say, 'Wow, that was... that was it. That was the... that was really extraordinary to be a part of.'" Admiral Mc Raven: "... the ones I was always most proud of was when we could rescue an American. And we did a lot of hostage rescues... We were rescuing contractors, we were rescuing journalists, we were rescuing.. you know... people that we knew we had an obligation as American soldiers to rescue Americans" This is the answer of the architect behind the killing of Osama Bin Laden and the capture of Saddam Hussain. He could mentioned those days as his most glorious ones, but he didn't. For him, the proudest days were when he rescued fellow Americans. From all of his virtues, his perseverance might have placed him among the stars. But it is his humility that makes him shines the brightest.

I don't know the rules guiding the participation of retired military officers in America presidential politics. My prediction is that whenever admiral mcraven is ready for presidential politics whichever party that would field him would be the winner of the presidency.

Men have men’s capabilities as length and shorts and women have women’s capabilities as length and shorts. All will be able to serve by different abilities. However, if bring massive women to involve battles will be too hard for women, because woman’s physical strength just don’t match with men’ mostly or normally, but women can be trained to be civil engineers, or nurses, or programmers, or repairing to help achieving combat or being helpful to injured soldiers together. I guess the good coordinations toward America’s greatness and strength for getting things done quickly only. Ordinary citizens don’t know much, but love our country America dearly, love freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities as liberty 🗽 together, work hard and build our country America’s greatness and strength and cast votes together. This is why listen more to understand more and do better things together quickly. Listen to different leaderships’ speeches will help us to learn different fields of the leadership standard and how to understand and solve different issues easier by fairness of the views, diversity of the views from visions, wisdoms and kindness nature toward each other’s accomplishments and mistakes together and by learning more to understand more and do better together quickly. I wish whoever wins will reunite our country together peacefully and gracefully together and focus on getting good things done quickly together for America’s greatness, strength and unity as Americans’ happiness together. Thanks for sharing and our learning opportunities and experiences together.

Indeed. He valued his relationship with his allies so much that he left his British allies stranded in Afghanistan and our citizens, not to mention the Afghans who courageously supported operations over many years at great personal risk. Biden's handling of the Afghanstan withdrawal leaves a shameful mark on American foreign policy. That his government can pursue anti-racism, defend transgender policies and leave Afghan women as girls open to unspeakable abuse is the height of hypocrisy. Do not under estimate the impact on America's International reputation. Positively its the wake up call geo-politically to nations who need to spend more outer own defence - good outcome. But for the rest, disaster.

Get off your soapbox, war is not pretty. We never should have never started that war. That being said, when was a good time? 20 years and the Afghan people couldn't even fight for themselves. Trillions of dollars, infrastructure, military teachings and education. We have brought many here with free education, housing and food. We can talk about problems, but never have comprehension about the solutions.

I have immense respect for McRaven and his service even though I disagree with some of his political analogies and associations. You are known by the company you keep and I feel that has otherwise tarnished the reputation of a great man. He is right about two things, though: One--A liberal education is crucial. One must understand the world around him, and only a true, liberal education can do that. It must be an education taught not from a subjective, leftist, revisionist ideology, but from a fact based, cause and consequence, objective/critical/complex thinking, perspective. Two--Voter and election fraud notwithstanding (the figure is more likely 90M+ who voted for Trump, not 73M), the massive number of conservatives who voted for Trump and America. Biden must understand and reconcile with that; he ignores and turns his back on it at his own peril.
