1:56 So Zurich World Champs is about 275km with 4470m. For context the Montreal Cycling GP has around 4300m (not 3800) for less than 215km, so proportionally quite a bit more climbing actually. That means that Zurich could suit mvdp and remco slightly better than Montreal, maybe

I rode the Zurich loop (virtually on Fulgaz) and that main climb max's at about 15% and drags on. If you can get a gap on that climb it's about 25k to the finish. Roughly 10km from the end there are 2 back-to-back little kickers at about 10%....those are gonna hurt.

What makes this race so interesting is that no one of the favourits has clearly the favour of the parcours: anything can happen such as a chase between van der Poel, Evenepoel and Pogačar... It is a very promising race that even may be better than you can dream of. It would be disapointing If someone could profit from rivalry and kill the tension.

@@stephenleek3097 They will know the time differences from team cars and it's a closed circuit so there is not that much mystery. Pogacar will escape from a small group on the last lap. Remco 2nd. Believe me, this is not Gaudu's race at all, he's a pure climber. France won't have him as their leader. It will be Julian I think.

I don’t trust Roglic, his attitude after the World TT was concerning, could only manage 12th and was laughing about it.

His "attitude" was going into the TT without high expectations (profile didn't suit him) after just winning the Vuelta. That's why he was "laughing" about it and being relaxed.
