Detox really would gain more from winning than Katya, and she was over all very good in the season 🤔 while Katya had the story of coming from season 7 where she had terrible self esteem and issues that royally screwed her over - only to then grow as a person right before our eyes and in her own eyes... detox showed she doesn't have what it takes to get the crown when she eliminated very strong and talented queens just to save her friend, who had been constanlty failing to prove herself by the end of the season, as much as i love her you just can't ignore that. Maybe it was a strategy to have less competition who knows, but you can tell than even Ru was suprised when she eliminated Tatiana insted of Roxxie who was the clear loser in that episode

I mean I ADORE Alaska. She's one of my favourite drag queens, but even I think that she shouldn't have won those lip syncs. Katya SLAYED Cherry Bomb while Alaska was a mess. And her tantrum when she was in the bottom really sucked. But I do understand her win as her whole story was "Oh now that I am my own person, I can show the world what I have got" and I think she gained a LOT of support from her win. But I think Katya should have won All Stars. She was consistently in the top with only being in the bottom twice (and the second time she wasn't even terrible). Detox should have been in the bottom with the Drag Shark Tank challenge (I don't know what it's called) because she really did not execute a polished prototype and Tatianna's commercial was SO good! This basically makes Katya have the top track record. She also has the BEST storyline. I love Detox but Katya won in my eyes

Now, this is one of the most complicated questions in history. If Detox wins All Stars 2, she would get her rudemption/(ruvenge?) arc after being eliminated by Jinkx Monsoon on Season 5. She gave looks the whole season and she showed an improvement even better than Alaska's. However, I have been rooting for Katya since the first time I discovered Drag Race, winning All Stars 2 might not be exactly what she needed (because all of her time on the season was enough for her to grow), but it would seal her storyline as a queen that not only grew as a performer, but as a queen that showed herself that she is an amazing person. Both of them would be perfect, but I think Ru and the producers would pick Katya because she was popular, a fan favorite, a young queen in contrast to Chad Michaels and, her story would have connected with several fans.

I know detox deserves redemption but I think Ru would crown Katya due to her having a better speech. Also because she has a wider fan base. AND it’d also create the whole storyline of Katya doubting herself, overcoming it, and then taking the crown which Ru would probably push. Also all stars 2 probably would’ve been edited differently, if Katya were to win this storyline would most likely be more prominent and Phi Phi wouldn’t be such a raging villain because Alyssa isn’t going to return and eliminate her. Honestly, my money'd be on Katya then. Because it would have been a more even showing of her lipsync potential. More wins, better score overall. And, let's be real here. She's a bit closer to the Alaska type. The quirkier one, the one who has good looks but isn't The Alpha Queen of Runways like Detox is. While it would've been a hell of a lot closer than the favoritism-drowned AS2 we got, I'd give it to Katya in the end. The final performance puts her over the top. And her Read You Wrote You verse was, is, and always will be one of the most catchy and amazing ones in any song challenge we've had.

I don't know if Detox is *the* most underrated queen. But I'd give a tie to Katya and Detox. It's just so unfair not to give either a win, because they gave the reality performance of their lives in that season. But I personally believe Katya would do so much more with her crown than either Alaska or Detox, particularly with the strength of her brand and the appeal she has to people who suffer from emotional and mental issues.
