The new knockout seeding format is double edged sword. Top 8 seeds will save you 2 additional matches. I assume Miguel Gutierrez might be brought back this summer, so there are two options there. Camavinga off the bench in midfield would be perfect, he doesn't even enjoy playing LB. He's fast, but not fast enough to hold off opposition RWs for the whole evening.

Valverde has both yet ok with a RB position to help the team. You gotta do what you need to do until you prove your value. Ceballous is not as athletic as Cama but one his position in midfield and has better passing game.

Apart from the assist I think Jude is becoming too obsessed with trying to score and playing as a striker. He kept getting in the way of Kylian. Also, Kylian wasn’t get the passes from him and Vini either, there were many opportunities to pass the ball to him. I like Jude but truth be told, I think we would’ve loved him more to develop as a solid midfielder who could hold the middle. He needs to understand that the role he played last year when there wasn’t a 9 is not going to be the same as now. I also think it will make his work much easier than moving all over the pitch thereby getting tired easily.

Circulating the ball for too long and losing it right at the edge of the box due to an unnecessary pass, then all of Vini, Jude, Rodrygo, Valverde and 39 yo Modric had to run back to their goal to defend. That was so frustrating to watch and disheartening for the players. Then they became impatient and started wasting good chances by crossing/shooting too early. Now they've figured it out though.
