@fitfogey2 жыл бұрын
Yeah prob a little different there. Umps now have a lot of enforcement capabilities at little league games these days because of crazy parents. Courts have ruled that as such. In fact, an ump can kick you clear out of the ball park itself, not just “away from the field”. If you do not leave completely you can and will be arrested.

@@fitfogey Can confirm was working a little league game behind the plate by my self. Work and live in a small town and everybody knows everybody. This kid's dad was known for not being sober 99% of time whether it's drugs or alcohol. There was a grounder that went towards right field with a runner on first. The runner jumped over the ball (ball did not hit him). Runner was out at first by force and this dude had been screaming at me all day. I gave him his final warning (after like 5 warnings) after that stating "if you want to see your kid play the rest of year please shut up". Half inning goes by and he is still going and had come up to the fence. I throw him out and call the league president to have this situation taken care off. Parents gotta due better I understand wanting your kid to succeed but at the lower levels they're learning the game there are no scouts there or anything the most important thing for your child is to let them get a good experience and learn how to play the game correctly.

@@Chicago1234ish Well said fam. Sorry you had to deal with all of that. I’ve seen it before too. The helicopter mom/dad types are basically just as bad acting like their 12 year old is showcasing for a full D1 ride. I'm glad UCONN ultimately won this game because wow... this was some absolute bullshit right here! He didn't do anything worth getting tossed from this game! I hope the NCAA looks into this and fire this idiot ref!
@lifeisilltv26172 жыл бұрын
That was ridiculous. The ref felt like he got showed up. These refs have super sensitive egos

That might be the worst call ever. The first T seems okay but that second???

The 1st one was weak as well.

He should've pumped up the crowd again when he was exiting 🤣

That’s the weakest technical foul in college basketball history

These refs should be no where near a Conference Tournament or a March Madness

reminds me of when that ref gave allen iverson a tech for "bringing the crowd down"

Shows how soft refs are these days

Or not soft for throwing the goofy coach out. If they were soft they would have let him get away with all that non sense
@aaronseidl59412 жыл бұрын
@@rodgermaneric4943 didn't realize trying to pump up your home crowd is "nonsense" 🤣🤣

I listened to the radio broadcast of the Duke-Virginia game the other night and throughout the game you could hear the crowd in the stands chanting "Bullshit"
@davonteross20062 жыл бұрын
Why can’t the Coach pump the fans up? Coach Bruce Pearl does that and never got ejected
@dunno512132 жыл бұрын
BC this time the coach was blatantly pumping the crowd up in response to the T with the intent to show up the referee crew

That was an ejection for lowkey mocking the refs.

The Huskies coach did nothing wrong. He was just hyping up the crowd and the announcers said it themselves that other coaches or players will do the same thing and not get called for it. Terrible officiating

Earlier this season I saw Dan Hurley follow a ref up and down the court yelling at him the whole time for like a minute and the ref just took it, but this somehow got two technicals and an ejection
@SatireNewsNetwork2 жыл бұрын
Uconn deserves WAY more technicals than they get. I don’t miss them in the American one bit!

Definitely some shady stuff going on with refs at this point. There’s a difference between bad officiating and then getting emotional and just taking sides 💀💀💀💀 I’ve seen enough
