Any team that makes it to the Elite Eight is one of the best in college basketball.

we definitely played very well in BTT and first 3 games of NCAAT. S16, BU outcoached TJ but got completely outcoached in the E8.

Tbh we got out coached and out played smh good season though this one hurts cause honestly had we not missed all those layups and free throws we had them

Great season and thanks to all players and coaches and staff that made this possible! Most importantly all glory and praise to God for keeping this team pretty healthy most of the season!

Zero adjustments made in the game. 0 for 19 going against clingan in paint and still trying to do the same crap. Underwood went back to being stubborn again

You just copied and pasted the same thing you commented on the postgame. And you’re wrong and don’t know ball both times.
@sdmarathe9 ай бұрын
@@that_guy_jelloyes I copy pasted same thing. But it's right. The entire game plan was not working and should have switched after few minutes when it was obvious it wasn't working. And Brad kept going at it. 0 for 19 against clingan JFC no adjustments. How do allow a team to go on a 30-0 run?? Didn't even try full court. Didn't even try zone or anything.

Seems kind of unfair that one team gets a 7'2 guy standing right under the hoop than can receive any pass and instantly dunk it without even trying 🤷♂ It was funny how Illinois actually stood a chance once he was on the bench

Illinois should not be embarrassed. UCONN is simply dominant right now. They did nothing wrong. They just ran into an amazing team.

@@NH-pi5dwYou’re not a fan. Looking at all your comments, none of them are positive. When the Illini win the natty, don’t say you were there from the beginning because you obviously aren’t. I-L-L

Enough with the attack posts. Both things are true, i.e. UConn is THAT good and Illini played arguably their worst game of the season. Illinois is a great program and had a great year. But we are not an ELITE program yet, like UConn. So back to the drawing board for the Illini. We have a very good class coming in and I trust BU will get some great portal pieces. See you in November!

@@that_guy_jellofans can criticize the things that went wrong with coaching . Everyone is happy with what Underwood is doing with recruitment, motivation, team culture etc. And we are grateful that he brought Illinois back on national map. But don't pretend like he is a great xs and os coach. He has never been one and never been someone who adjusts well in game. And I have watched every single minute of Illinois since 2000
@Fullcollapse18 ай бұрын
@@markb2231We should of taken advantage of that first half period when Uconn wasn't hitting shots. The main issue is we don't have good interior defense. Shannon definitely didn't get help so his 20 plus points absent was that difference. We need guys who can block shots who are strong and not afraid to knock guys like clingan every time they try to get easy shots. Aside from Shannon and domask the other guys were mediocre at best .So I agree we weren't elite quite yet all around
@itsjustacomment4549 ай бұрын
It's rediculous that Shannon hasn't had to be in any of these interviews. The reporters would've respected not asking him questions about the alegations.
@BigOleC119 ай бұрын
They absolutely would not do that. Causing drama and making my headlines is their job, tsj would’ve been smothered by questions regarding allegations
@itsjustacomment4549 ай бұрын
@@BigOleC11 It's not like he's 18,the guy is 23. He can say no comment. Plus if the NCAA told the reporters not to ask, and if they did they would be barred from their events, they would not take that risk.

It was a good strategy by the team and the lawyers. It would have just been a distraction and wouldn't have helped the team one bit

I've read Terrence's attorneys have advised him not to speak since the ruling.
@PatOD758 ай бұрын
That's the only reason why the media was making such a big deal about him not talking to the media in the first place, because they specifically wanted to probe him about the allegations. TSJ did the absolute right thing in not taking questions. Nothing good could have come from that.
