UConnect Fix! Lost Bluetooth and other functions?

I have a 2020 jeep cherokee and I cant get my connect to read my text messages, any ideas?

Dodge tried telling me the hard drives weren’t replaceable and to swap it out with a different unit was gunna be 1600 cdn I laughed in their face and said why would I put your 1600$ shit system in when I can go to visions and get my buddy to put an alpine touch screen in for 800? Lol like they build shit just to break so they can screw the average guy who doesn’t know shit. I hate the way stuff is built nowadays.

I need another one for my jeep liberty. I cant talk or listen to my music from my phone through my bluetooth. I hope it works the same since mine is a 2012. What you think

It fixed my issues. As long as it has a Uconnect, you can match which hard drive you need.

Yup. Have had 6 months of bumpy hot dusty drives. Worth the $120. I don't want to upgrade my head unit, so this works just fine.

@@comfort_in_discomfort I just did the update on my car man and when the update finished the dodge uconnect screen came up the my screen goes black then again to the dodge unconnected screen. Did you by any chance have this problem after the update or any idea of what it could be ?

@@srt_gzus304 I didn't have that issue. I did end up doing the update twice. But it worked after that. Maybe try again? Sucks.

Yes. I changed the head unit eventually for a carplay compatible one, but it still worked fine.
