The boys made it happen tonight. Connecticut basketball is a tradition that you cannot deny. The land between the rivers. It’s fertile. It’s home. Let’s do this. Buckle up NCAA. You have never seen the likes of us. Bristol, Hartford, Stamford, Groton, Greenwich, Storrs, we are CT!

I agree. He really stepped up. Karaban and Spencer were cold from outside.

Yes he stepped up. I'm glad he did when his number was called. Did you notice that #23 Joplin was killing Karaban? He couldn't guard him. Luckily Hurley made the much needed substitution in time. Stewart shut him down on offense and gave us the scoring we needed. If Karaban is going to be streaky like he's been, we need to see more of Stewart. He can ball

I live in CT all my life. We are #1 in college basketball and the main stream media still acts like Duke is. This team is amazing

This Uconn team has absolutely everything. Their bigs are incredible, point guard is ridiculous, gritty defense and their 3 point shooting is lights out. This could go down as the Greatest UConn team ever if they make this tournament look easy

Great job boys, but somebody needs to tell them that they're allowed to score in the first 5 minutes of games.

Yeah they better get off to a quicker start in the tournament.

UConn: the team to beat that you won’t beat
@victorkreitner7547 ай бұрын
It will take a Herculian effort for someone to beat UCONN the way they're playing. UCONN literally has to have an ice cold shooting night to lose in the NCAA tournament. I give only 2 teams a realistic shot, Houston and Perdue. And even those two would have to have a perfect night. Should be a heck of a final 4 whoever gets there, and barring a big upset expect UCONN to cut the nets again. The next question is how many of these Huskies are going to the NBA?
@Fantastic_Six7 ай бұрын
@@victorkreitner754i hope not many. Cuz none of these guys are gonna make great pros. They are role player pros. Thats what makes Uconn so consistently great, they have the best veteran players

@bigdog10027 ай бұрын
They have the 6th man of the year in the conference. A great backup center. Stewart is super talented. Solo got valuable minutes when Castle was hurt. Enough gas? Nobody has more gas than UConn. Especially on a neutral floor. The 1st two rounds in Brooklyn and the Sweet 16 in Boston will be home crowds basically, especially when the losing teams start getting rid of their tickets. I got in the lower level (like row 15 for like $250 for the Elite 8 game in the Garden when UConn beat Michigan St to go to the Final Four (and eventually win the NC). Shabazz was so money.

Klingon is NOT ready for the NBA
@victorkreitner7547 ай бұрын
I expect Newton to go easily. I agree with Klingon not going. I give him one more season at UCONN before he goes pro, but then maybe he stays his senior year to get a proper farewell send off. I watched his mother play college ball with the great UMaine star Cindy Blodgett back in the 90s. She'd be so proud of her son.

Whos Klingan?
@ryanharrison40587 ай бұрын
Clingan is 7’2” has passing ability and can finish around the rim. That’s NBA ready, why pass on the draft when you are a lottery pick? He has a lot of room for improvement but going to the NBA will give him all the tools to achieve that.
@chrispacileo5957 ай бұрын
Clingan is probably the most NBA ready plus he is a lottery pick. I don’t get why he would stay. He and Newton are likely to leave. If anyone isn’t NBA ready I’d say it’s Castle, he has no perimeter shot, has a lot to improve on and if he were to stay another year he could really polish up his game.
