My wife and I both have been taking 81mg of bayer "baby aspirin" since 2009. An old doctor we had at the time told us to do it. Neither one of us have had any problems at all. We have both done the ColonGuard test where they look for blood from your intestines and the results were negative. I would think if baby aspirin caused bleeding that it would be across the board. Everyone should be bleeding from it. I will continue to take it every day because there are multiple studies that show aspirin encapsulating cancer growths.

@Dr Grandis. At age 75, I have used 325 mg BUFFERED aspirin every day for 45 years. The two keys are this: There are no buffered 81mg asperin I know of. And the buffered eliminates the bleeding problem due to instant particle breakup in acidic fluids like inside the stomach, or even a glass of warm water with vinegar. Only coated asperin should be the culpret for bleeding. I have had many cardiologist discussions and they are ignorant on this topic.

Carol: UCLA was hired by USA Military and medical schools to determine how long staff could be kept working without becoming ill. The research results UCLA reported was that if people are deprived of getting 4 hours sleep in the dark for 3 nights straight, they will become ill. UCLA also found that daydreaming in the dark for 4 hours functioned just as well, but the mind had to avoid problem solving and really relax. I took psychobiology (biopsychology) at UCLA, and this is what we were taught. The professor also stated that there are people who never sleep, and try are fine. He said every 7 years our need for sleep decreases by 30 minutes. He said this is primarily a concern when life partners differ in age by or more years. Then, the older one needs to allow the younger one more sleep. I have tested the 3 sleepless night principle, and discovered that I had to push back on demands that I meet deadlines that would result in 3 sleepless nights. Since I did get sick, I made certain that I did not go without sleep longer than one or two nights. Complimentary to that, I also try to get out in direct sunlight at least every other day. Even in storms and cold weather, I try not to stay completely indoors longer than a day. In my experience, mouths require some direct sunlight for good health.

Wow, it makes a huge difference. Back in 1991, a Research scientist came to my premed, undergraduate biology topics course to discuss his ongoing research in light and reduction of melatonin production and sleep. He explained that cancers were higher in people who had lights on or sleeped next to an electronic device that produced enough EMF (electromotive force) to mimic a light breing on. He correlated the lower level of melatonin production and increased inflammatory and cancers. Yes, we need to sleep in darkness to allow our pineal glands to produce the proper amount of melatonin. For what it’s worth, I’ve slept in comets darkness since then 1991…I’m 57 years old and my friends tease me on how I must sleep in a freezer because of my youthful look. I’m a doctor and my patients think I’m in my 40s. Hey, I eat nuts, fish, beans, McDonalds, Chicfila, tacos, pizza. Little to no sugar or carbs. I get 1500 calories a day on average. I think a lot has to do with diet and excessive too.
