No significant conversation on the WAR ON DRUGS that adds to this obscene Prison Industrial Complex! Why is this guy not talking about this horrific policy?? Cut this policy out, mass incarceration will drop massively! The economic and political ramifications are huge here and no real mention of this and it's relationship to overall crime. Shameful! People need to get their own educations, the Universities are not doing the proper job in truly deciphering this system and it's overall affects with respect to policy.

50 to 60 thousand to keep an inmate imprisoned for a year. Wow, no wonder jails and prisons are privately owned and there are so many prisoners. I should invest in prisons. This all gets payed by the tax payer. What a racket. Something needs to be done. The argument to is jobs created by prisons. There has to be a better way to deal with it.
