I am a North Indian, based in Ludhiana Punjab. Had an opportunity to visit Mangalore, so had gone to Machali's restaurant for seafood. One of the best seafood specially Prawn ghee roast and pomphret tawa fry, delicious. Visited many times during that trip.

Amazing place. I’m eating in Machali past 4 years whenever I’m in Mangalore,the taste & quality has never changed.Seafood is very fresh. Must try - Kane masala fry, Anjal tawa fry, Ghee Roast is Ultimate , Fish Egg Fry , Veg Meal is fantastic. Chicken Biryani is also very good. They serve very good Butter Milk and Kokum Rasam.
