UDO Super6 Tutorial Import Custom WaveForms from Serum

Thank you for sharing your findings. I do not own one yet, nor have I played one... But I appreciate any information regarding the UDO Super 6. So thank you. I have never owned a synthesiser this may be the first one I have the pleasure of playing. So many to choose from but this one stands out to me the most so far. Due to its sound and hands on control.

I bought a super 6. Hopefully arriving soon. Would also be interested in juno waveforms. I suspect many people who wish roland would really make a new juno or jupiter, and not another vst in a box, have gravitated to the super 6.

You can put whatever you like after the underscore in the filename in order to help keep track of what file is what, and it should work on the Super6. (still keeping the .ws6 file extension of course)

A tip : you can watch series on kaldrostream. Been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.

I have been attempting this for the last few hours, but the file type is showing up as RAW instead of ws6 even when I rename it. I think this is why when I add it to the folder it doesn't load in after resetting the synth, and the slot is empty and the file goes missing. Any idea what I am missing?

This really is a nice, unique sounding beast, this UDO Super6 .... I doubt in reality though, I'll ever be able to justify spending all that cash on a new or even recent second-hand one (assuming someone would even give one up, after actually buying it!!). Dream on though..... 😑.....................

I unsucessfully tried this with another wave editor on my ancient Mac. Will try again with 496 samples and file naming as suggested here. I notice these user waves are saved to each patch, so patches remain unaltered if the user wave set is changed. Have not verified this, but it could be a way of increasing the on-board selection of user waves???

Its such a great synth , got mine for a week and am blown away! A question: are you able to put some juno wavetables into serum and then into super 6 (via serum there are some aviable) . I would order those directly - maybe a business idea for you? What do you think? Possible?

way ahead of ya there. 16 new waveforms come with a patch bank I'll be releasing for the Super 6. I'll see if I can get a proper sample Juno saw and square

Major OSC awesome! Thanks... I will immediately order it, if juno is in there . this will be a pleasure to all S6 owners - with Juno wavetable add on they would get a desired synth many people out there waited for and Roland never delivered in terms of quality/intuitive/voicing/beauty . The S6 is so close to the original juno 60 regarding interface and filters - but furthermore so much more advanced. Guess what versatile beast it will become then. I am curious, looking forward!
